My ****ing HOA does not allow permanent BB goals. We have a large rear patio. We had a smaller BB goal that deteriorated in the weather so we up-sized to this one. I put ~2.5 cubic feet of sand in the base and it could probably use another 1 cubic foot, but several boys ~13yo played on it aggressively and it didn't move so we may be good to go. The polycarbonate backboard is *WAY* better and larger than is typical in this price range. The parts provided allow a bit of flexibility and even modification. Everything fit and all of the holes, fasteners and whatnot were perfectly aligned. The instructions provided were simple enough for a person capable of assembling packaged furniture to do this job in 20-30 min, excepting filling with sand. The included tools are silly stamped steel wrenches and ubiquitous allen keys and nobody who needs these ridiculous tools should be assembling anything. Nonetheless, they're up to the task of assembling this simple structure. I keep these "tools" and the extra fasteners as raw material for other projects, so thanks, I guess. The fill cap needs to be larger on these things. The one we had before, I filled its base filled with water. When the water froze, the base became tippy due to expansion and remained so after the thaw. The fill cap on this one is obviously designed for water. Please give us 1.5" / 38mm or larger fill holes on next year's model! I propped the base on a ~30° incline and used a reciprocating air tool to vibrate the base as sand was fed into a funnel cut up to just shy of the hole width. This works great for dry sand, but if it is wet enough to clump just walk away and let it dry in the sun until it flows freely, trust me. ... show more

Yes, reletivly easy to assemble and maneuver...as far as the money factor - you get what you pay for... One of the main poles sections came in bent and after a long frustrating hour we finally got the other section to slide in and fit... noticeably low grade thinner metal then expected 😒 As soon as we finished filling the water, one corner of the water tank started leaking and keeps doing so in a slim steady rate... The plexiglass wall for the ring seems to thin and fragile... having our fingers crossed it's gonna last. "Why didn't you send it back?" you ask...well, the huge box is super heavy with the parts in it and disassembling this one would make for a not so fun activity. We will keep it as long as it lasts and buy slightly better next time 😏 ... show more

I got this for my son for his birthday a few months ago. After a few weeks one of the little support bars on the rim started to separate. Now only having it a few months the entire rim has broken. I have not found a way to get the 1 year warranty to replace it as there is not a place to contact the seller I have tired several times ... show more
