The ATOMSTACK Swift 7W has been an incredible addition to my workshop, and I can confidently say it’s a perfect choice for both beginners and more seasoned engravers. What sets this apart from many other entry-level machines is its modular design—I had it unboxed, assembled, and ready to go in about 10 minutes. It’s compact enough for a small desk or studio but has a 300x300mm working area that provides plenty of space for a wide variety of projects like customized coasters, leather patches, and wooden signs. The cross-platform compatibility is where this laser really shines. It is rare to find a budget-friendly machine that plays so well with everything. I’ve used it seamlessly with both my Android phone and iPad (iOS) via the AtomStack app, which is surprisingly intuitive for quick projects. For more detailed designs, it connects perfectly to both my Mac and Windows PC. Having the flexibility to switch between mobile and desktop setups depending on the complexity of the job is a huge convenience. In terms of performance, the 7W laser is punchy and precise. This engraver hits the sweet spot where the price and performance, along with ease of use, actually line up. Asembly was quick, everything was bagged up, labeled, and I was engraving within minutes! The laser spot is tight, the cuts are clean and the workspace is plenty for hobby work, like mine. The included softre is ok, but not where you might want to live long-term. Solid quality, sharp results, and beginner friendly. The only gripe is the cables could be better managed and alignment can be tricky. Overall, I would recommend this product!
