This paper shredder is junk. I had it a month and a half and I died and the waste paper basket it comes with is very, very small my advice save up and buy a better paper shredder

This machine is very quiet, it makes very tiny shredds. The receptacle that catches the shredds slides out like a drawer. I love not lifting the heavy grinder cylinder off the top to empty it. It's a good bit larger and heavier than we're used to but the rollers compensate when it needs moving. We've only had it a week but it easily shredds multiple sheets with no issue. ... show more

    • Smallest shreds!
Excellent quality. This shredder produces the smallest particles I've seen. It's very secure. It's also very quiet even under heavy loads. Can shred staples. The light in the bucket when you shred is a nice touch. My only complaints are the bucket hard to empty and the cut on credit cards seem too big. Better to insert card sideways so that at least it cuts the magnetic strip. No deal breaker for me as it is extremely hard to find a shredder that can produce such fine particles. If a thief can piece documents back together on this thing he probably deserves whatever he finds in the document! (no just kidding, he needs to go to jail like the rest of them) Make sure you lube it regularly our you will dramatically reduce the life if the shredder. Pros: destroys documents quickly, reasonably quiet; a workhorse. Cons: black top makes it hard to see slot which is oddly to the back instead of center; pile of shreds needs to be shifted or dumped well before bin is half full; dust; extra run after shredding.
