I am going to assume all the health benefits exist and are great and not comment on those, given that is the sole reason I am still choking this stuff down every morning. What I will tell you about is the more immediate effect of drinking this stuff. The taste itself isn't exactly vile, it is by no means good, but it's not immediately spit it out and drink vinegar just to rid yourself of the taste bad. It is reminiscent of algae that has been coated in hay dust, hung in a horse barn for several years, and occasionally had carrots or beets thrown at it. Then there is the foam... oh the foam. It is large and thick and doesn't go away because you must continue shaking to keep the particles swirling. The real problem is that it has a cumulative effect. I can get about half of the bottle down before the nausea really sets in. By the time I get 3/4 of the way through the bottle I'm at the point where one more sip is gonna result in immediately loosing all that I have already managed to get down. On the weekends when I have more time I can manage to drink the whole thing, but on weekdays, when I'm literally standing in the bathroom trying to force this evil stuff down so I can brush my teeth and get in the shower, I just can't do it. I figure 3/4 is better than nothing though so I stop there. This stuff had dang sure better be insanely good for me given how insanely horrible it is to wake up and immediately drink something unpleasant that makes you nauseous every single day. Maybe I'm allergic to one of the many ingredients I have never heard of since it gets worse the more I drink, I have no idea, but I like the idea that I don't have to feel bad about the days I don't manage to eat well since I paid up in multiple ways to cover the nutritional bases by drinking a bottle of swamp water that morning. So, I write this review to put off going to sleep, even though I'm well into the zone where I won't get enough sleep before work, because the sooner I go to sleep, the sooner I will wake up and be faced with forcing myself to mix up this potion of disturbingly dark green fluid while I curse it and those who dreamed up this torture. Highly recommend if you really really love yourself or really really hate yourself. Gonna have to be one or the other cuz you'll need determination to keep this going. Update after a few weeks: So it seems the nausea was mostly caused by the D3/K2 vitamin dropper. I had been taking the one drop of that first thing before drinking the powder mix until one day I forgot and took it after. The nausea didn't set in until I took that so I just quit taking that part. Things have gotten MUCH better. It still doesn't taste great but I just drink it on the way to work to have more time to get it down and doing it this way is MUCH more sustainable.

I really wanted to like this product after reading all the glowing reviews. I looked eagerly to my package being delivered. When it arrived, I got the individual packets you mix with 12-14 ounces of water. Everything came packaged nicely, and appears to have high quality ingredients. It also came with an AG1 cup and lid to mix it with. I've been drinking AG1 every morning now, according to instructions, for 3 weeks without fail. I have not noticed any discernable difference in how I feel, or my health in general. But, each day it gets harder and harder to choke down the gritty and slightly bitter lawn shavings. While the ingredients are a fine powder, and probably as good as something like this product could be, that provides me with little consolation. Each day it gets progressively harder to drink. I'm now to the point where I'm counting down how many packets are left so I can be done with this. I know I could just stop and throw what's left away, but because its so expensive, I feel like that's just too wasteful, so I just keep drinking it. My best advice is to just chug it down as fast as you can. I'm not one who gets hung up on texture generally. I like wheat grass, and healthy concoctions in general. I love that this has minimal sugar and unecessary additives. I really like that it has quality ingredients. With all that, its still just very difficult to drink. I'm eagerly looking forward to it being gone, so I don't have to dread drinking it each morning.
