Mounted on a AR15 platform. This mount raises the red dot optic so as the optic aligns with my left eye, while shouldering form my right side. (I have a problem with my right eye) So far , after 100 rounds, the mount remains firmly attached to the picatinny rail and optic. Added bonus - looks very cool and comes with a very reasonable price.

I put this on a PCC with a Holosun 510. It's not 'skyscraper' high touted by some 'operators' but definitely helps with a more heads-up stance appropriate for a short range defensive rifle. Had to adjust the quick release clamp on the Holosun as the Picatinny dimensions are narrower than the rail on my receiver but it definitely works. I got the FDE version and it's in the family of FDE although lighter shade than some components sold. For the price, it's very good. I'm not running iron sights so IDK if the tunnel on this mount interferes but I suspect it would not.

Overall seems solid enough. Took off two stars for fitment and quality control issues. The mounting screw came prestripped, making it difficult to tighten and get a snug fit on the rail. Also, 1" is too high for a Holosun HS510C to be able to 1/3 co-witness fixed Daniel Defense iron sights. Disappointed since this height was recommended by the manufacturer for this purpose. Guess I'll hang onto this one and just order a .83" to try out for this purpose. Your miles may vary on this.
