it works. as a whole it feels solid and good quality until the tray spits out- it's loose and kind of sloppy, so not the most premium experience when using it. but it does what it says it does, so i'm not too bothered.

    • Downloading CDs on a iMac 24
I opened Apple Music on my iMac 24, then I connected the external reader with one of the supplied cords. Downloading music from CDs to my Apple Music was a breeze. You do have to eject your disc with the computer on the Apple Music download page. ( Top Right Corner)

    • Very Good External CD Player
This cd player is plug and play right away and has lasted three years without any problem. I recently thought I was having trouble with it because it started making noise and then ground to a halt and wouldn't open the bay for a few seconds. Turns out it was caused by a read/write cd that had a paper label put on it with the names of the songs and this paper label was rubbing against something inside the cd player. I was able to slowly remove the paper label using a q tip and isopropyl alcohol and then cleaned it with a damp rag, and then the cd played fine. ... show more
