I bought a Westinghouse generator for our RV, and was offered the Asurion 4 year protection plan. Wouldn’t you know it, in the fourth year it stopped running. I called to make a claim, they found a repair shop nearby and paid to have the generator picked up! It ran the next few times we used it, then it stopped producing power. I called again, but they couldn’t find another repair shop this time and I received a full reimbursement for the price of the generator. Worth every penny in this situation. Customer service was amazing.

OK the second time I tried they responded and did a great job. Should have done that the first time. I put a claim in online and after going through the process I was informed that I would have to CHAT with a customer service rep. Raymund was that chat customer service rep. Thinking that they had a couple of mor questions I chated with Raymund and realizing that he was asking me the same questions that I answered in the claim I asked him if he could just get that info from the claim I had already submitted. He told me he did not have access to the claim and continued to ask the same questions I had already answered. I asked him a couple of questions and he ignored me and continued to aks me questions. I attempted to get a customer service phone number but could only find them for AT&T and Verizon products. Still working on this but I do not have any faith in asurion.

Got this plan for portable power station in case battery failed. It said that mechanical and electoral malfunctions are covered. Battery developed a bad cell and claim was denied. Don't waste your money.
