Quality Protection Plan
I was totally impressed with the experience of using my asurion protection plan. They were quick to acknowledge my claim and quick to notify me of their efforts on my behalf to find a repair site. Then it was an almost immediate response when it became clear that a refund would be do. Needless to say, I bought the protection AGAIN with my next purchase.

They will never process your claim
I started the claim process on August 2nd. Sent everything they asked for, and got to the part for printing a shipping label and it wouldn't do anything but error out. I ended up calling support. Guy there couldn't figure out the problem, so he restarted the claim. 2 days later it asks me to fill out paperwork, which I immediately did. Then I got an email that I could do the next step, which would be to print a shipping label. Wouldn't you know it- errors out. I start a chat with support. They have no record of my paperwork being submitted. I let them know this was starting to feel like straight fraud. Finally after more of my day than I'd care to be on the phone , they told me that they had been authorized to just send a check, but I'd have to resubmit thr paperwork in response to an email they just sent which I promptly did. Fast forward like 2 weeks, and nothing. Start another chat, and after them "looking for my file" for like 2o minutes (do they put the paperwork in a dungeon? It should be instant as soon as I give them the claim number, which by now I've memorized like a prison ID). They inform me that a check was mailed, which would take 5-10 business days to get to my house. I don't know what kind of mail takes 5-10 business days for an envelope, but ok... and now, here we are. September 6th. The 10th business day. No check. I bet if I reach out again, they will tell me they are waiting on my paperwork, or not be able to find the claim in their dungeon. So basically, I either give up and forego the $800 they should have given me, or I guess I need to figure out what kondof lawyer does this kind of stuff, and for $800 that lawyer probably isn't worth it. Anyone have advice on how to handle this? I have to assume I'm not the only one with this issue- class action maybe?
