I've purchased several of these warranties over the years, but never needed one until now, and always wondered if it was worth it. Recently, my $400 multiprocess welder started having issues, and after going back and forth with the mfr, they said it was out of warranty, discontinued, and they couldn't help me. My first attempt to use the Asurion website was unsuccessful. It couldn't find my info and timed out looking for an agent to chat to. However, a second attempt a few days later worked flawlessly. I was able to log in with my Amazon credentials, saw a list of all the warranties I had purchased, and filled out a simple form saying it had stopped working. As soon as I hit submit it came back and said they were refunding the purchase price, and about 3 seconds later, my email received the Amazon gift card.

Asurion was great! USPS lost our package of parts for our Mighty Mule gate opener. We were sending it to Asurion because it was malfunctioning. We gave them the tracking info, they verified that it never made it out of the Miami facility and our reimbursement is on the way. Very professional company and great representatives on the phone. Definitely worth protecting you investment with Asurion.

My pool sweep pump motor started to make lowed noise eventually stopped Working. I emailed ASURION that pump making loud noise they immediately refund me total cost. Thank you ASURION

I purchased the 4yr plan for a log splitter. When the log splitter quit working splitting an 8" round log x 12" long. I made a claim to Ausurion. I was notified this morning via email that I would need to ship it back to the company it's from so it can be repaired or trashed. This splitter weighs 100lbs. I am a 64yr old woman. I am physically unable to lift this up to the back of my SUV. Not to mention packaging it the correct way to be shipped. Plus the shipping costs. I will never ever buy a policy from this company again. I've had to jump hoops to file a claim it was ridiculous. It's a scam ...this was my 1st time trying to use this so called insurance protection and never again!!!!!

The return of the item was quick and fairly simple. They refunded my account with a gift card, which was fine. The only problem I had was when I first called Asurion they told me that the manufacturer still had a warranty on the product and told me I had to go there first. So I did, and I had to jump through all kinds of Hoops and loops and file different kinds of paperwork which took almost an hour and a half. By the time it was all said and done they sent me back an email saying the warranty had already expired. So basically I did all that for nothing. Had I been able to just go through Asurion in the first place I would have rated it five stars.
