My Canon PIXMA TR4720 stopped working 2 weeks after manufacturer's warranty expired. Canon provided no help at all. I realized I had an Asurion warranty. Contacted Asurion. Spoke with a very helpful representative who emailed me a mailing label while on phone. Two days later I shipped printer. Next day received refund for payment amount. I'll make sure I have a protection plan for all electronics and devices in future.

After buying this I would not buy ever again. I bought phones and after buying them the price went even higher then what I paid for them. I was told if something happens to phone they would only pay me back what I paid for the phones. I paid like $54.00 for the set of phones two days later the phone went to like $94.00 Dollars. I don't want the money back just want them to replace my phones if they go bad that is why to get a warranty on them if something go wrong I still need a home phone to talk on. This need to be a replacement warranty not that I paid a certain amount that is all I get back. I don't want the money back just a new set of replacement phones

I was one week short of a three year coverage plan for a home shredder, Amazon Basics. It was a good shredder I have to say. I was disappointed when it stopped and I knew it was beyond repair. These things are not made to last a life-time. I remembered buying the Protection Plan, so I looked it up. It's an ordeal to go through the online process, but if you stick with it, they will approve. Then you have to pack it up and carry it to a UPS store. This was hard for me to do. I'm a Senior with issues. So that's why I did not give five stars.

I always buy Asurion Protection plans for items that are mechanical or get a lot of use. They pay out quickly and the process is straightforward. Things to keep in mind —you must have your receipt for the covered item and the receipt for the purchase of the protection plan. For things purchased on Amazon finding both is pretty simple.

Use the live chat feature for the fastest response. My entire warranty process took less than 10 minutes. I boxed up my defective printer and dropped it off at a UPS shipping location. I had a credit for the full amount of my purchase before the end of the day. I used that credit toward my new printer the same day.
