The ice machine I had purchased a year ago stopped working. We worked through all the manufacturers recommended 'fixes' to no avail. We thought we were just out $120+ and would have to suck it up and get a new one. Then I remembered I purchased the Asurion Appliance Protection when I bought the ice machine. The warranty says they will repair or replace the item. So I filled out the online form advising what the issue was and what we did to fix it and within 24hrs, I receieved an email that they were providing me a credit for the full amount of the original ice machine. While prices have jumped up, this refund nearly paid in full our NEW ice machine replacement!! Couldn't be more pleased and thrilled at this protection!

Good news is I finally received a refund due me for an appliance that died on me. Bad news is it took me a WEEK+ of headaches of my replying to all the information they needed to refund me but all the emails and replying didn't go thru. The messages were constantly bounced back to me saying they were undeliverable...address unknown. I was replying to the addresses they instructed me to use but undeliverable! Finally, one by one, they somehow got thru and they then quickly refunded my money. Good luck.

Had to use my plan twin in a years time first time they had me send it back and replaced it ASAP Six months later same problem popped they refunded the price of the item guess that model had too many returns
