I really like the suitcases, but one of them had a defective lock on it. I discovered this when I tried to use it for the first time three months after buying it. I put in the claim and almost immediately got the money back in my Amazon account. The protection plan is really worth it.

Easiest claims process EVER!

Normally replacement fulfillment with Asurion is relatively smooth. Not sure what happened this time? Started this claim on April 14th and wasn't resolved until early July. Had to call at least seven times and each time was told they would call me back to figure out what the problem was... they never did. Had to fill out multiple forms, send copies of Amazon receipts several times, then more forms and finally photos. Then call again!

Great submitting a claim. They settled it the same day & sent me a gift card for my complete purchase. It was a little confusing on how to start an online claim. I could not find a phone number to call.

I bought an additional warranty for new luggage and after a trip in Europe, one of the wheels was in poor shape. Asurion responded to my warranty request very quickly and refunded my money with an Amazon gift card. The only negative is that the wheel could be replaced and the luggage would be like new again but that wasn't offered. I imagine it's easier for Asurion to simply provide a refund but it is wasteful.
