Asurion is absolutely the best for peace of mind and confidence your appliance is protected. I use Asurion for appliances like coffee makers and blenders, and robot vacuums and Iphones. Asurion is very affordable. They make it very easy to file a claim. Just call the 800 number. Way too easy.

It may not always be the smart thing to do but buying the extended warranty on the stick vacuum I purchased paid off this time. First the battery went out. They sent a replacement. Then I noticed the suction had gotten less so I started checking and there was a hole in the hose from the floor piece to the handle. I contacted the warranty company and they gave me a full refund. Well ok, I’m happy.

I bought an item on Amazon along with the protection plan just in case something happened past the return window. Boy, am I glad I did! Just a week after the return window closed, the item stopped working. I contacted Amazon, and they instantly connected me to Asurion. The agent asked a few detailed questions about the issue, and once they realized the item couldn't be fixed, they immediately offered a full refund. The entire chat took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. I will definitely be buying this protection plan for all my future electronic devices!

This whole thing is really shady. I just called to file a claim for a juicer that I purchased at the same time for coverage. The guy asked for my name, address, than wanted my claim number.... but I was calling to file a claim. I told him I had an order number, so he said Yea give me that. "Now I need your 16 digit credit card number. Thats when I STOPPED. I asked him how does this process work. He said I needed to give him my credit card number first. I repeated ... "can you just tell me how this is going to process so I understand". He then said, "thank you have a blessed day" and hung up. Not odd disconnected, he just hung up. I don't think I'll be buying the Asurion protection anymore. I'll try amazon direct and give an update if I have one. March 12, 2026
