For the second time, I purchased a Mueller Ultra Kettle: Model No. M99S (the first in 2022 and the second in 2023). This time, I followed my instincts and also bought an ASURION protection plan. Lo and behold, the new kettle lasted only 11 months before breaking. To get a refund was easy. I received an email shortly after I bought the second kettle. The email had all the information needed to replace the kettle. The process was easy and quick. I was required to send the defective kettle to a location in another state. Fortunately, I had kept the original box, so I was able to ship it in the original packaging without any issues. There was a time when manufacturers produced quality products and stood by their brand. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case. If I had relied solely on the short warranty provided by Mueller, I wouldn’t have been able to replace the defective appliance. As for the third kettle, it will not be another Mueller Ultra Kettle: Model No. M99S. I chose a made in China, unknown brand. There is no protection plan available, so when it breaks, it breaks.

My popcorn popper was only $40 but I am truly thankful that I did buy an extended warranty for it!!! I used the popper a lot, took very good care of it, but before the warranty was done it started to lag~~not pop the popcorn well, leaving many kernels up-popped repeatedly. Hmmmm....... After a while, I looked up my purchase and realized I was still in the warranty timezone. It was a great popper for almost 3 years, used a lot. I am thankful for buying the warranty. Ohhh, and the process was easy-peasy! They stick to their word! I sent it back with their label. Woohoo!!

Bought the coverage for my blender. After 2 years the motor stopped working so I tried to make a claim. Got the reply that it's covered by the manufacturer and I needed to contact them. Found out the blender has a 3 year warranty through the manufacturer which makes me wonder what's the point of this 3 year coverage if all they're going to say is it's covered through the manufacturer?... I'll never buy coverage through Asurion EVER AGAIN! Feels like a scam..........

Usually these extended warranties make you jump through a bunch of hoops and have deductibles. We have had a couple of occasions to file a claim and our experience was surprisingly good. Only suggestion would be to have more info on the documents to identify the product.
