I inadvertently purchased a 3 year warranty to cover any problems that I would have involving overhead light fixtures. Once I read what this would cover, I realized I would be paying $21.99/month for three years. That's nearly eight hundred dollars that would be going into a big black hole when the price of all three fixtures only cost me less than $150.00. Of course, I'm trying to cancel this warranty that I purchased ten days ago. Here's the rub, the registered letter that I'm required to send to asurion to cancel this warranty is going to cost me $14.95. REALLY!?!

Understood it wasn't a good product although I was only looking for a replacement they refunded all funds and I added to the refund to buy a better product.

I’ve used Asurion before on various items I purchased on Amazon. It’s pretty good for the most part. But I’ve always had to dish out more money to replace what was insured and this last time, (kitchen sink faucet) they wanted me to send it back first and wait for their approval! Instead I was told to purchase another and they would give me an Amazon gift card which of course would result in me spending more money on Amazon. I asked them to send me a check instead and they agreed.
