Almost two year's of purchasing an office computer chair it began to wobble and had become unsteady. I found my 2023 purchase and started the claim process with such ease. The only dislike was the detailed information about the chair didn't prefill and I had to open a separate Amazon windows to retrieve the information to input on the Asurion site. Other than that, it was a breeze to file the claim. And I expected them to offer to repair the chair. Instead to my surprise they reimbursed me the full purchase price of the chair with an Amazon gift card right on the spot. I was thrilled and within minutes I was able to purchase the same chair again. That's what I call "excellent service". I'm so happy I had insured my chair, it's so worth the small price to pay.     • Misleading
I was very disappointed with the Asurion protection plan. I made my claim 8 months after my purchase (my Amazon purchase at the time included a 3-year Asurion warranty). Asurion didn't offer to repair or replace, instead they offered to pay less than 1/2 of what it would cost me to order a new one on Amazon. The price on Amazon, over that 8 months, doubled, and all Asurion was willing to offer was the pre-tax/pre-shipping amount I originally paid Amazon. I made the Assurion plan purchase thinking that for thee years they would take care of any defects or malfunctions, assuring us of trouble-fee use. Amazon should do better than contracting with a company that misleads it's customers.. ... show more

    • Unclear policy details claims
The insurance is not expensive ,but the claim process is a hassle. after uploading everything that their website states to submit. I kept getting emails request to upload the same things that I submitted and I did that three times, but end up rejecting my claim. I called customer service to find out what was going on, the rep I spoke to tells me that they sent me an email requesting the receipt from the insurance purchased, I said that I did not get that email and that was not listed as a requirement on the website, but anyways I uploaded the proof and the next day I received an electronic amazon pre-tax gift card .Come to find out they only reimburse the product price sale with no tax included ,as per their policy ..smh ... show more

Purchased the extra coverage for my gravity chair. Its my daily sitter. The chair tore and ripped and put my behind almost on the ground. Contacted them and a gift card for a new chair was issued quickly with NO issues or hastles. Thank You
