We needed to use the warranty for a 2-month old projector. Since the product couldn't be repaired Asurion gave us a gift card in the amount to replace the projector. When my soundbar stopped working, I contacted Asurion and they promptly answered by giving me a return label. They kept me updated throughout the whole repair process and when they noticed the soundbar was beyond repair, they refunded me the whole amount of the product.   • An insurance policy I hope I never have to use!
I bought this to supplement the basic warranty of the Yamaha Audio Amplifier that I purchased. I have not had to use it and hope I never have to use it. But, so much I buy today craps out after a short time due to poor workmanship or quality, that I often buy insurance like this to protect the more expensive stuff I buy. ... show more

  • Worthless for electronics!
I purchased a Reolink camera system June 2022 from Amazon. I don't typically buy warranties as I just don't have faith that they will back their warranties. But, with these cameras coming from China and spending nearly $1K, I figured I would go ahead and purchase a 3 yr warranty. I call and speak with "Vem". Her English was horrible, but finally managed to get my claim made. I told her that the client software for Reolink was not working after moving to a new computer from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I told her that I had already been in communications with Reolink for 2 weeks trying to resolve the problem and had on email that Reolink admitted that their client software was not working with Windows 11 which makes my cameras worthless. Yet, she proceeds to tell me I need to package up all the cameras and send them back and THEN they will evaluate if I can be refunded. I told her I was going to have to hire someone to take the cameras down (they are up high on the house and other areas of the property) and that I was not going to send them the cameras without something in writing that said I would get paid for the purchase price of the cameras. She had a really difficult time understanding this and finally, I told her I wanted a manager or supervisor because I was not shipping these cameras anywhere without that confirmation. She puts me on hold and then comes back to tell me that she now wants to reach out to Reolink to find out what they are doing about this. So, she was going to have me pay someone to take down the cameras when I made it very clear to her that it was the CLIENT software that was the problem. She kept talking like my cameras needed to be repaired. I don't get why it's so hard to hire people that can speak English!!! Finally, after about 30 min on the phone with her she said someone will get back to me. I pressed her for when and she said 2 business days. I guess we will see if that really happens. I paid for the warranty but it does not look like they are going to honor it. Reolink only does email support and they are in China so you send them an email for support and have to wait a day for a response. It's pathetic. I think I will be contacting Amazon if Assurion doesn't come through pretty quickly. ... show more

  • Great service quick response
They sent me a shipping label for my dc audio speaker. Within a week or so they figured out it couldn’t be fixed and sent me an Amazon gift card for the full price of the replacement.
