Asurion is pointless. Better off buying locally and dealing with a big box shop than the Kafkaesque maze of doing a repair or replacement. You'll be waiting for months or they'll just point you to the manufacturer. Not worth it at all, even for big ticket items.

I have other two products covered by this company and it was about $50 cheaper than getting the geek squad protection from you know who. I'm sure I will not have a problem if I need this in the future. Just go to their website and you'll be able to see your items you've purchased in the past and added policies to make sure that your email it doesn't go into the spam people always leave review saying I didn't get a receipt or anything I haven't had that problem. On a past item I was able to collect on a portable dryer that I had a problem with just before they're 3 years ran out and they cut me a check because they couldn't send any service tech to evaluate a problem because COVID it just started. The company should list in their ad that they will cover products if you purchased it somewhere else they would be able to get more business but you have to go look at the policy on their website to find this out or they answer the question to another customer but didn't answer to mine. That's why I purchase from them and the reviews are good.

I purchased this plan as I had to replace a camera that was covered by a previous protection plan. I can't say enough about Asurion. They were prompt and my old camera was covered 100% allowing me to purchase another camera paying only the difference in price. I now buy the Asurion protection plan on all higher priced electronics. Well worth the extra few dollars.
