This was a very simple and straightforward process to claim the amount that I had paid for for a dashcam that had broken down within a year of me purchasing it. All I had to do was package the item and put a shipping label that was provided by Asurion on the package, and the same day I scanned it in at UPS, I got an amazon gift card with the full amount (not including coupon discounts, which meant that I got back more than what I actually paid for) that the camera was going for at the time. I am completely satisfied with this service and would definitely use it again! The only thing that I can see potentially being a problem is having to package much larger items, such as the giant solar panels that my father bought a couple of months ago, that he also bought an Asurion protection plan for. Hopefully those don't break down, because if they do, I have no idea where we would be able to find boxes large enough to put those in.

1: it has 8 outlets, but only 4 are battery backup 2: it’s rated for 360W, but recommendation is 80%. (288W) 3: if you have high end PC, this UPS will probably be too small. 4: some folks report incompatibility with PC power supplies that have the PFC feature. To test, with everything hooked up and running, unplug the UPS. The unit will switch to battery backup mode and output simulated AC sine wave, vs the normal mode where it just supplies filtered power. After unplugging the ups, if your pc shuts down, you need an ups with true (or pure) sine wave output. 5: the battery is Sealed Lead Acid (like all ups in this price range). Expect it to last 3 to 5 years. The battery will last longest if it stays fully charged. Also avoid running the battery down if possible. Every time it discharges, it loses some capacity. The battery is replaceable.

It was doing really good for a few years and then it just wouldn't work anymore. But having the Asurion protection was GREAT the coverage was outstanding. They backed the product I bought, and their customer service team member was the best. I got reimbursed and am now able to buy a new one. Thank you Asurion.

Have sent the same NVR back for repair 3 TIMES (all within 3 weeks) still have not repaired or replaced.

It was a very simple process making a claim thru Asurion. I completed my claim online, printed my return label and brought my original purchase to the UPS Store. Within hours I received refund in the form of a Amazon gift card.
