The next year, the unit started restarting sporadically and without any warning; it appeared the internal battery had expanded. I am not a person that buys extended warranties because most times the product lasts beyond the warranty period. I purchased the 3 year plan for my Zosi camera system, and am very glad that I did. Massed produced electronics are just that, massed produced.     • Warranty cancelled but still being sold
This warranty is sold alongside the product I ordered from. A few weeks after purchasing this warranty and registering the product I was sent an email from Asurion stating: we don't cover the product you purchased this for, we are cancelling the warranty and refunding your purchase. I responded asking "then why it is still being sold on the product page"...never received a response. ... show more

I purchased an inverter. After a couple of weeks of use it stopped working. Notified sun gold but return time expired. Notified asurion and they sent me a postage paid label and the day they received the inverter they notified us it could not be fixed. We received a $1299.00 gift card by email within two days of the phone call. Very impressed. Would have preferred them taking it off my credit card but am happy with the Amazon gift card ... show more
