SO glad we got this Asurion warranty! The air conditioner we bought worked great for nearly 2 years, then eventually stopped working. Never again. Keep being told it’s under original warranty. It is not. You are paying for nothing—only way to reach them is file claim so they can make you crazy and you just give up.

Easy process. I had to go through manufacturer warranty process first (it was denied bc it was 14 months on a 12 month warranty). Once that was denied Assurion handled the claim quickly and efficiently (much more so than the black and decker warranty people). It was all done online. Easy peasy!

The company refunded full purchase of my a.c. unit. The unit was a challenge to take care of. Constant water drainage, a.c. unit cooling shut off and it leaked. I'm so happy to have purchase the protection plan.

    • Live chat submission required
I had to use the live chat because when I tried to submit a claim it kept saying I was still covered under the original product warranty (I was not). It would not allow me to submit the claim. Live chat asked the standard questions and submitted the claim for me. I was reimbursed for the pre-tax/fee cost via gift card. I got the gift card email within hours of the claim submission. I wish these warranties weren't so very expensive. This is the only time I have ever been able to successfully utilize one. ... show more
