I bought the Asurion Protection for my Insta 360 X3 camera. I bought my first Insta 360 X3 camera in 2023 and put it on a model and a high-powered rocket and launched it a few times. One time, however, on a snowy day, the high powered rocket parachute did not deploy and the camera was integrated into the nose cone. It took 30 minutes to get the camera parts out of the rocket crater. But I took the parts home, filed a claim and sure enough, Asurion determined this camera was not repairable and they honored the deal. I got a new Insta 360 and bought the coverage again as this company and product are the real deal. Exceptional customer service and got paid with no hassles, and in less than a week.

I almost forgot I had this.. and I bet Asurion was banking on that fact.. but, they didn’t hesitate to provide excellent service despite the fact. I dropped my Insta360 One X a while back and the unit would never hold a charge consistently anymore. The lens had a minor chip from the fall which didn’t really effect anything much but I’m sure it would show up in the right lighting. I figured I was just out the $300 I had paid for the camera and I was about to buy a new one until I accidentally came across my coverage plan! I went on the Asurion website, input my plan number and linked it to my Amazon account… the system verified coverage and sent me a label to ship the camera into their service department. Less than a week later I receive a text and email saying they were unable to fix the camera and gave me a credit code for my full purchase price of the camera, minus the Asurion coverage of course. Log into Amazon, enter the credit code and bam! I have $300 and change to spend on a new updated camera! This was an amazing value, worth every penny. I noticed I wasn’t able to purchase the coverage on my new action camera (I hands down would have)… likely because these guys got too many claims from people dropping or damaging cameras specifically designed for “action”. No complaints and no hassles with submitting or receiving a claim.

Quick gift card sent for product purchase price. You still have to eat the tax and insurance cost. But for hat it is, I'm glad I had it.
