I purchased the 2 year warranty when I purchased an under desk treadmill only for peace of mind because there were no reviews on the product or seller at the time I was purchasing and I really was worried about how long the treadmill would last. Well, the treadmill worked fabulously for over a year and then started to go awry and I was no longer able to safely use it. Asurion was absolutely wonderful when I described the problem and had pictures of what was wrong. I received a e-gift card within 24 hours of my initial contact with Asurion. I was so impressed with their customer service and support that when I purchased my replacement treadmill, I also purchased another 2 year warranty. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy expensive sports equipment.

I purchased a treadmill from Amazon and bought this 2 year protection plan, and I am so glad I did! The treadmill stopped worked a little over a year after I purchased it. I contacted Asurion, and they immediately issued a refund. I was so shocked. I have never contacted a warranty and had such a quick and easy experience. I ordered a new treadmill this weekend with the refund (a different brand of course) and bought a new Asurion plan for the treadmill.

Terrible customer service. Refused to give a refund even though plan description says it covers accidental damage. When I called they said the terms and conditions say it only covers accidental damage for "portable electronics" like headphones so portable treadmill is excluded. Basically, their description can be misleading. Read carefully if you choose to buy.
