Get it get it get it! I will never buy another laptop without it again. When I needed to make a claim ( almost 2 years after buying laptop) it literally took 4 MINUTES! The process was flawless and in less than 24 hours UPS was at my door picking up my laptop and 2 hours later my reimbursement email was sent and the Amazon gift card was ready to use! They reimbursement me 100% of what I spent on the laptop and bout a new 1 in the same day. So in 2 days I had a new laptop for free and with NO ISSUES! Asurion came through for me just as promised! Within hours of dropping off the laptop I had to return at the UPS Store, I was notified my refund/Amazon Gift Card would be on the way for my purchase price. Within hours of receiving that email, the refund was issued and my Gift Card balance was right where it should have been on my account!

Laptop stopped working after only a few months. Asurion provided a full refund of the purchase price via an Amazon gift card. They also provided a label to ship the product back at no cost (although I had to provide my own box). I would have preferred a refund in cash (and not having to hunt around for a shipping box), but pretty much satisfied otherwise.

We bought the 2-year plan on a laptop. Fifteen months after the purchase, they refused to cover the problems. They claim it is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty even though I have checked and I have proof it is not. This service is a hope tax. You pay and hope you won't need it. Then, when you do, they refuse to pay. I guess they are taking notes from United Health Care.

Filing the claim was easy. Once it was determined that the parts to my laptop could not be replaced, I was refunded the total price of the laptop and I was then able to purchase a newer, mor up to date laptop.

This protection plan saved my but and allowed me to replace my daughter computer when money is extremely tight. Will be using these guys for all my electronic purchase in the future.
