It appears to be a good sturdy unit. But the proof will be if it jumps my bike. I do see that the cables are a bit short, ok if working on a car, but motorcycle batteries are a different breed. So, for now I give it a 4 based on these comments.

This is great ! Works like a charm. I bought it as a gift for someone without auto shut off headlights who drained their battery. They had a hard time getting it started when jumping it that morning and again after work as it didn't recharge enough on their way to work. I have them this and the " push button" charge thing , started it right up. It's been over a month and they haven't had to use it again. My friend convinced me to get one of these. He has this same model and brought it over one day when he needed me to load test the battery and alternator in his daughter's car. The car would not restart when he turned it off. The short of the story is we figured out it was the battery. When he needed to jump start the car to go get a battery, he pulled out this Astro AI S8 jump starter and it started the car with no problems. It was very easy to use. So I got myself one after he walked me through how to use his. Highly recommend.
