12'x30" model I bought my wife an inflatable pool first and realized right away I needed something better. After lots of research and reading a million reviews, we decided this would work best for our situation, and that was the right decision. Now, it says not to put on concrete, and I'm sure that's because concrete will probably tear up the vinyl, so we first laid out some foamy square things and covered our entire back patio with them. I live in the desert and my yard is all rock, so that wasn't going to work, and I needed a pool darn it! So, this thing is sturdy. I was worried at first with the PVC elbows and everything, but it is sturdy as can be. Took all day to fill up, but it is a beautiful specimen. I bought it without the smaller pump as most of the reviews state the included pump isn't too strong, so I bought the next larger pump and haven't had any issues at all. Here are some tips: When setting up check and recheck that there is nothing, and I mean nothing, under the vinyl insert. Somehow three rocks got kicked under and we didn't notice until it was filled. One rock immediately punctured the liner and we were hole hunting on the first night. Used Gorilla tape to patch and it worked perfectly. The next day we found the other two rock and patched them. No other leaks so far! Tip: make sure you balance the chemicals just like you would any pool. Algae grows in pools, you need your chemicals. This isn't a chemical review so I'm not going into details here, but make sure you do your research and keep your pool clean and safe! You can get replacement liners right from Intex so that is what we will do next year instead of storing the liner, but that's your choice obviously. We are just lazy like that. Here are some bullet points: * Rugged and Sturdy * Looks good * Liner feels nice * Easy to setup * Enjoyable * Definitely worth the price. My wife bought a floaty and just lays back in this pool all day every day this summer. It is the perfect depth for a flotation pool. At 12', probably a little small for both of us to float and move around much, but two can definitely float. The biggest thing to note is getting in and getting out. My wife is 5'8" and she can get in and out with a stepstool, but we do have one because she does need it sometimes. If you are looking at the 30" model, you should consider a stepstool. That's it. Excuse me for the bland backyard but it's a rental house. Lol and I'm working on fixing it up. Anyways we set up the pool very simple and easy instructions however I did notice a little tiny pinhole in the side of the pole my second picture is that message the seller and the issues me a partial refund which is great because I did not expect that I thought I was going to have to take my entire pool down and return it well there's patches included into the kit so it was a quick fix and I'm off to finishing my brick Lane. ... show more

This is wonderful quality. A bit larger than I expected, only bc we had a Bestway pool with the same dimensions and it is noticeably smaller than this pool. The Bestway lasted us two years even though I didn’t put it away in the winter. This new Intex I will be sure to put away. It’s SO nice. I would say it is large enough that the filter is needed. We didn’t use a filter with the other pool. We floated chlorine disks but no filter. This one is more than some floating chlorine can handle. The filter cartridges are highly affordable. I was very happy about that. The filter comes with a built in timer!!! Four hours per day is the recommended time for this pool. We are in the country so we will run it 6 hours. But both are impressive to me. I thought we would have to run it all day. ... show more

I'm changing my original review. Previously I couldn't get a hold of anyone about this item and returning the ruined one wasn't an option. But after getting in contact with the seller they have helped me find a solution to this issue. We had the pool up barely a day before it started leaking

Took less than 30 min, seems solid and zero leaks. Just wish liner was thicker so it would instill more confidence but it's good for the price. My durability expectations are low, not based on the product quality, but because this is my first above ground pool and I'm imagining how brutal the sun, chemicals and usage can be on the vinyl. I'm cautiously optimistic. I fully expect it to last one season, anything more is a bonus. I've read reviews where they have lasted multiple seasons.... time will tell. ... show more

I bought this pool in 2022 and waited a year to review. It was very easy to assemble. I was able to put it together by myself the first year and my husband helped this year. It was put on a concrete patio so I did use gym mats underneath to make the bottom soft and avoid any tears. Make sure it is level! I ordered the mats from Amazon but underestimated the amount. Luckily, Lowes sells them too. I put a tarp on top of the mats then assembled the pool. The last pole is a little tricky. Once assembled, add water. I was constantly pulling the bottom taunt, and making sure the pool was straight and that there wasn't any wrinkles as it filled. Once there is a few inches of water it won't move so keep an eye on it as it fills and walk around tugging on the bottom to make sure it's wrinkle free. We used 2 hoses and it was full in a few hours. I purchased a separate stronger pump, chemicals and a skimmer. Get the skimmer! This will be the 2nd year and it still works great! I use chlorine tablets in a floater. Get the PH within range, water hardness and alkalinity. I shock it once a week or after a hard rain and I use a soft brush to scrub it every few days. We did break it down and store it after last summer. I researched storing it on YouTube. The baby powder trick helped. We cleaned it and put back up this year. No leaks. Still great! The first day we set it up we realized it was leaking before even 1/5 of the way full. Leaking from a seam, not from puncture. Doesn't come with a pump either. I'll return this and get a complete package instead hopefully made better.
