Great sail shade! I bought the 12x16 shade and it works great so far! I couldn’t bare this years heat wave so I didn’t even get to enjoy my complete cement backyard all summer! I couldn’t help it and bought a sail shade I see in beach resorts. The set up took about 2 hours because I had to go take 2 trips to the hardware store (I lost a nut in my neighbors yard) and because I already had floating lights and I didn’t want to take them down. I did it solo; luckily I already have a wood fenced back yard ao making the eye screw holes and spring link was not an issue. Thanks Amazon! All other options were going in the $300-$3000 range even the huge umbrellas. This was in total the sail shade was about $65 (including the additional hardware), does the job, and seems very durable! ... show more

    • Nice color, not as much of a sunscreen as expected.

this is heavy and nice but the sun isn't as screened as expected. Still it does a good job. Would have been nice to have the hardware with it but I managed and it is well anchored.

Love this so much ! Very cost effective way to add shade to my deck ! Looks beautiful also ! Not water resistant as water beads through ! This does exactly what I needed it to do ! Be sure to buy the hardware kit as it is not included ! Attached it to siding of house and 2 4x4’s ! Added some lights and it’s BEAUTIFUL ! ... show more

I am so impressed. I'm in a condo in Phoenix with a small ground floor patio. The sun in July and August is brutal, not to mention the Monsoons that rip through the valley. This canopy(in tan)let's light through yet keeps the patio SO much cooler! The monsoon rains are hard & heavy and some rain goes through the canopy but it doesn't claim to be 100 % waterproof, & that's okay. I very easily drop 1 or 2 sides when the winds are heavy and easily reclip when the storms are gone. It also allows me to get enough light for my summer plants and I can have a beautiful patio all summer without the sun frying any and all vegetation. It's been worth every penny. ... show more
