Quality product, use alone or with a trusted friend(s)
I am reviewing Art Prompt Cards, 42 Guided Drawing & Reflection Journal Prompts for Adults & Teens I am no artist. I do have issues. I am willing to try new ways to self soothe. This card set gives the user a large pool of structured subjects for self reflection. Anyone who is working to improve the way they think and see the world can benefit from this in some way. I find my mind returning to the question throughout the day, and adding to my initial answers. Some are more deep than others, but they are subjects that most people experience. The cards are high quality card stock with a semi glossy finish. They should be durable enough for long term use with minimal care. These could be used alone, or if you're really into deep conversations with friends, therapist, loved ones, you could make it a game. But it really doesn't seem like a game to me. The cards are easy to understand and use. I'm using a blank page ringed notebook for my drawings so that they will be in one place for future review. Overall, this is an excellent way to harness the brain's natural functions for bridging the emotions to other brain functions. ... show more

Nice prompt cards for reflection
These cards are nicely made and work well as guided prompts. The drawing and reflection format makes them useful for journaling, art time, or just slowing down and thinking through something in a more visual way. They are simple, but that is part of what makes them easy to use. No complaints.

Love these! Very helpful!
These are such interesting cards! My therapist advised me to try art therapy along with my weekly counseling and these have been part of that treatment. I love the way I feel when I draw. Within about 10 minutes, I can feel myself start to calm down. Art really is my safe space. There are lots of good prompts on these cards and they allow you to choose what you want to do that day based on a couple of different categories. Each category has quite a few cards to choose from and so far I’ve really enjoyed using them. It helps me get past the hump of not knowing what to draw or where to start. I love that it’s not about perfection or creating some spectacular masterpiece, but just about scribbling and creating. The deck itself is well-made and comprised of nice thick paper with lots of intentional illustrations and directions. I think these will last a super long time And I love how high the quality is. Overall, I’m very happy with these and I think they will be a huge help in my continued journey to better mental health. ... show more

Spacing/spelling errors, possibly translated/AI generated or both
In and of themselves, the questions/prompts are reasonably helpful toward articulating and exploring one's feelings. However, there are spacing and lettering issues with the text that distract me from said feelings, or rather, have me stuck feeling hung up on what should not be something noticed by the user at all. For example, there's missing spaces between words separated by commas, and the word "too" with one letter changed so that it reads as meaningless "toc". This leads me to suspect that this set of cards may have been either AI generated, or translated into English, or both. Not sure what went on here. Rather disappointing in that regard. I personally will still use these cards but maybe not as much as I initially would have if the proofing on this was done correctly. ... show more

A Creative Addition to Our Homeschool Art Time
As a homeschooling parent and curriculum creator, I'm always looking for engaging activities that encourage creativity while helping children express themselves. These guided art journal prompt cards are a fun addition to our homeschool art lessons. I like that the prompts inspire drawing, reflection, and imagination rather than telling children exactly what to create. They encourage creative thinking and can easily lead into conversations about emotions, goals, and self-expression. While they're designed with self-care and mindfulness in mind, I've found they also work well as creative art prompts in a homeschool setting. The cards are sturdy, colorful, and easy to use, making them great for independent work, family activities, or adding variety to an art curriculum. If you're a homeschool family looking for a creative way to make art time more interactive and meaningful, these prompt cards are definitely worth adding to your resources. ... show more

Great, Abstract Expression
I got these for my partner who struggles with a tragic and complicated past, and subsequent mental health struggles. She's not particularly artistic or much of a writer, but she needs some outlet for some of the feelings she struggles to understand. These are well made cards with thoughtful prompts that help lead you to what can be deep or just abstract thoughts and feelings. With vibes only and no expectations, these have been a fun way for her to express some of the noise that would otherwise be bottled up inside. ... show more
