My first impression of the canopy was how sturdy it felt. Upon a little investigating I noticed that the legs and metal of the canopy were just a little more stout than others I have owned. Now the disadvantage comes in the overall weight of the canopy but that's a trade-off I'm willing to take for a stronger frame! I believe that's why the price of this canopy is also higher than average. The top fabric was more on par with whats out there. Nothing screamed red flags but it just wasn't as stout as the frame. Again, I'll take that as these can easily be replaced if it ever fails on us which nothing leads me to believe it will prematurely fail. Setting it up was nice and I'm glad they went away from the push-button leg locks to more hand-friendly levers. Those are a much-needed and appreciative upgrade. The bag seems sturdy and the wheels are a nice touch as well. Overall it's great and I feel presents itself well for the price. While it may not be a super bargain, you are definitely getting some more value for your money over bargain canopies. ... show more

I've owned several of these canopy's over the years and this one is by far the best I've had. Strong, sturdy and the canvas is high quality. It has a unique device in the center that you push up and lock to stretch the top out. I works great and make one-man installation easy. This canopy is a 5 Star unit but since it came with 8 tiny, wimpy 6 inch pins to hold it down I downgraded it. The pins would be totally useless in your back yard, never mind the beach! I bought 8 ten pegs for about $4 bucks retail so I cannot understand why they couldn't include these Hell I'd pay $4 bucks more! BTW; We test flew this thing at Panama City Beach Florida last week and it worked great and withstood one pretty good squall, allowing us to get it down before it left for all parts west. I'll end with "We're very happy with it". ... show more

This had so much potential. It was/is quick and simple to setup. Using for the 1st time takes an extra 5 minutes, due to having to attach the canopy. Taking it down and put away takes 2 minutes at most. The stakes are pretty useless because of how soft the metal is. So, you'll want to either use heavy-duty stakes (not included), weights (not included), or both. All that being said, this canopy broke on the 2nd use, during setup. I only used this canopy twice. The second time I used it, we had 10 mph winds and the legs instantly bent in half. We could not close the canopy to dispose of it or even attempt to bring it home to fix. Way too much money to only get 2 uses out of.

This was perfect for what I needed. I am able to pop-up and take down easily on my own! Made it though market weekends though the summer and fall. I am quite happy with this purchase. *** be sure to purchase/make weights to keep it grounded in winds!!!***

What impressed me the most was the sturdiness of this canopy. Much heavier than most of the other models out there. It is a bit heavy to carry but assembles quickly. My family is very active and this canopy is wonderful of weather protection.
