  • Great EQ
Yes I still have analog mixers that I use this with. I've used this for a while at venues before digital boards were popular. Added it to my analog system to adjust the sound for the mains. Still has a clean sound with enough timbre to produce the perfect sound.

  • Great Gear! Behringer Ultragraph Pro FBQ1502HD 15-Band Stereo Graphic EQ with FBQ Feedback Detection
This equalizer fits easily into my rack where I have a Behringer mixer/splitter, Tascam CD, Teac USB, Tascam Cassette Player and Audio Tech turntable fed into it. I can play or record anything anyway. The equalizer is the last component in the line of gear which sends its output into the amplifier. The output from the amplifier is fed back into the mixer. This enables any combination of playback and recording that you want to do. I can even use this as an inexpensive recording studio for guitars and vocals and anything else through a microphone. Very pleased with Behringer gear and for the money it is really hard to beat. I am an amateur in every sense of the word, but this seems to me a good bang for the buck! ... show more

  • Affordable professional equalizer intended for PA or recording use, but works great in a home audio system!
This is a piece of professional audio equipment, so you won't find any of the RCA-style audio jacks on the back. But if you buy slightly-higher priced XLR-to-RCA cables (two male XLR to male RCA, and two female XLR to male RCA cables), it makes an outstanding addition to a home audio system. Note that the 1/4-inch TIP jacks on the back are for connecting to balanced audio systems used in PA systems, so do use the XLR connectors if you want to connect it to a home system. 15 audio bands may sound like overkill, but it is very useful if you need to tweak your system to a room's acoustics! And all controls are duplicated on each channel, allowing you to adjust each channel separately. And unlike the blue LEDs on some models that are so bright they can blind you in a dark room, the channel level controls have red LEDs that are bright enough to see in normal room light but not nearly as bright. Take the time to read the manual: this device has some cool features. My only very minor complaint is that the rack mount brackets are not removable. Doing so exposes the circuitry inside, so don't do it! It should come with cover plates that can be bolted on in place of the rack mount brackets if you don't need them. Like I said, a very minor complaint that shouldn't deter you from purchasing it! I've been using mine for two months in my home audio system, and it is noise free, which is important when hooking it to a high-powered amplifier (a Carver M-1.0t). ... show more

  • Handy Little Gadget
I bought this EQ to use with my Tascam DP24. I was impressed with its “sturdiness”. I especially like the +/- 6 or 12 feature which gives me much more control than I thought I’d have. At first I thought I got the wrong model because the buttons all looked black to me. Once I hooked it up, I realized the buttons (range, low cut, in/out and FBQ) light up when engaged, which is a very nice feature. I’ve only used it to mix some drum tracks so far, but I am impressed with it. You can’t go wrong with this EQ ... show more

  • Ok for the price
It's a little noisy, the bands are wide and not great at high frequency.

  • Does exactly what it is supposed to. Arrived early!
Ordered it to upgrade a friends system. The equalizer gives quick overview over feedback and allows to adjust the tones effectively. The lights give insight into the limitations of the system. Perfect!
