We used this on a recent vacation trip with our soft sided roof carrier. I wanted something stable to keep the soft side off the roof glass to prevent breakage. This rack did the trick! It was easy to install, light weight but sturdy. Instructions were a little vague but I watched a video on how to install and it was very helpful. My husband had broken his foot so the installation was mainly on me. Very easy and basically all he did was tighten the “caps” to the brackets. The net was easy to wrap and secure around carrier and rack. The big hooks are removable and can be placed where you need them. During the trip to and from, checked the roof and nothing moved. We did not experience much noice either from the rack. Very happy!!!

I purchased this for a jeep renegade and it fit perfect. I loaded it with (6) heavy, bulky metal tree stands for hunting and it hauled the weight fine and they were secure at highway speeds. When I got the rack the net was not in the box but one email and I had that in 2 days. Thumbs up to seller and maker of this roof rack.

Worked great, as it should. Wasn't too difficult to put together, though one of the bolt holes did not line up exactly, but was able to get it to work having a friend push the pieces together while I put the bolt in. The rack absolutely messed with the aerodynamics of the car and increased the drag dramatically. I went from about 36mpg to 24mpg and less in some instances. We were using this as extra storage to move cross country. We ended up having to ditch it about halfway through the trip because it was creating so much drag on the car that it was messing with the transmission and shifting. Once we ditched the rack, the shifting and transmission started acting normal again. Overall, though, the rack was easy to put together, held quite a bit of stuff, and freed up some space in the car even if it was just temporary.

This roof rack looks great, is very sturdy, and does its job well. So 5 stars for all that. However, I rarely keep it on my roof unless I really need it for camping because of the impact it has on my gas mileage. Even with nothing in the rack, my gas mileage goes from 30mpg to 22mpg, which is pretty substantial.

So I was very skeptical about this one at first and went back and forth about buying this or a good one like Yakima or Thule for my Subaru. But, I decided the cost here was worth a shot. If you get thi, before you even put it on go to home depot or Lowe's and get Rust-Oleum bed spray liner and spray the entire thing, let it cure for a day or two then put e everything together. It's been really rainy and humid in the couple weeks since I got this thing but it's held up right this far. I check it every day out of paranoia but it's doing well. The sturdiness of this thing is great out of the box and the net that comes with it is worth it. If you want a good rack and not spend upwards of $500 bucks this is the way to go just ensure you treat it before you put on.

Great basset, took this thing on a 6600 mile trip, Ga to all thru the western states of Mt, Wy, Colorado, Nm, and more with no negative issues at all. Was going to remove when returning home, but it gives a nice outdoor look on our Subaru, and been back 6 months and still no issues, great basset .

I ordere the roof rack for my 2024 nissan kicks sr. First of all i was missing several long screws, the ones that hold down the front plate in place. Secondly, one of the plastic clips came defective and would not close all the way which prevented the screw from reaching the clip. I had to buy extra screws so I could finish the installation. I also noticed the the base of the roof rack would not sit evenly on the top crossbars. I had to sit the back side evenly on the cross bars but the front of the rack would not evenly sit on the front of the top cross bars. Other thank that the rack is decent for the price i paid
