  • Solid bike hitch
Size: Foldable Electric 2-Bike Rack
We currently use this product for mountain bikes in the hopes we’ll get e-bikes soon. The hitch sits solid in the receiver. You screw a bolt in on the side to keep in place then turn a knob on the hitch to tighten solid then lock. It’s easy to assemble and also adjust tire holders to fit any bike. The bars the come down the center post to hold bike onto carrier work effortlessly and they lock into place with a key. My only issues are that the straps that hold the wheels in place fall out too easy. I wish there was a way they could be made to stay in place so they don’t fall out while trying to put wheels in place. Also, the bolts on the adjusting knobs can fall out if you don’t constantly check to make sure they’re tightened. Other than that it’s a great hitch worth the 5 stars plus it has a 300 pound plus weight rating which gives me a strong sense of security and safety when carrying heavier bikes. Really enjoy the tilt function as well as being able to fold it forward so it doesn’t have to be removed but also be able to open the rear cargo door so long as you tilt it back. It’s a great investment and one I’m glad I made. I did lose a bolt for the tire holder adjustment. You can’t get it at Lowe’s or Home Depot you have to get it from the company. I called them, told them what happened and within 2 days it was on its way to me. Worth the phone call and short wait. I give it 2 thumbs up. ... show more

  • Heavy-Duty E-Bike Rack That Handles Weight Well but Needs Careful Setup
Size: Foldable Electric 2-Bike Rack
The Arksen electric bike rack is clearly built with heavier e-bikes in mind, and in that respect, it does a lot of things right. If you’re hauling large e-bikes, fat-tire bikes, or heavier frames that overwhelm standard racks, this one is designed to handle the load and feels much more substantial than lighter-duty options. The weight capacity is the biggest selling point. With a 170 lb rating, this rack is capable of carrying two full-size e-bikes without feeling maxed out. The platform-style design is far superior to hanging-style racks for e-bikes, especially when dealing with step-through frames or bikes with unconventional geometry. Once the bikes are on, the rack feels planted and stable rather than flexy or sketchy. The fat-tire compatibility is another strong point. Tires up to 5.5 inches fit comfortably, and the wheel trays provide good support without pinching or forcing anything. This makes it a solid choice for e-bikes, beach cruisers, and other wide-tire setups that many racks simply can’t accommodate. The tilt and fold features are useful and work as intended. Being able to tilt the rack down for rear access is important, especially on SUVs and trucks, and the folding feature helps reduce how much space it takes up when not in use. The quick-release mechanism does its job, though it’s something you want to double-check and fully lock before hitting the road. Build quality overall is solid but clearly industrial. This is not a lightweight or refined rack. It’s heavy, bulky, and very much a “tool” rather than a sleek accessory. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean installation and removal are not quick one-person jobs for everyone. Once mounted, though, it feels strong and confidence-inspiring. The included car lock is a nice bonus, though it should be viewed as a deterrent rather than high-security protection. It adds peace of mind for short stops, but anyone leaving expensive e-bikes unattended for long periods will still want additional locking measures. One thing to be aware of is fit and setup. Because of the rack’s weight and size, proper hitch fitment and tightening are critical. If not installed snugly, you may notice some movement at the hitch, which is common with heavy racks but something that requires attention. Taking the time to dial it in makes a big difference in stability. Overall, this Arksen e-bike rack is a strong, capable option for hauling heavy e-bikes and fat-tire bikes. It’s not the most refined or lightweight rack on the market, but it delivers where it matters most: strength, capacity, and stability. If you need a rack that can actually handle big e-bikes and you don’t mind the added weight and bulk, this is a solid, dependable choice. ... show more

  • GREAT customer service, great bike rack
Size: Foldable Electric 2-Bike Rack
So we got 2 ebikes and now we are packing up the car and we want to take the bikes with us. After reading a ton of reviews and settling on a budget we landed on this. We loved that it tilted for access to the trunk--this was a must. Fast forward and we are 4 hours from home and car is fully loaded and bikes are on. Back at home, everything worked perfectly: the rack tilted, loved the locks everywhere--feeling secure but now out of town the rack doesn't tilt at all because the pin is stuck. Causes major headache. We try hitting it (gently) with our rubber mallet and removing the bikes in case it was their weight (it wasn't). Maybe it needed lube bit we brought none. So we are not pleased. It may seem like a minor thing but we absolutely loaded the back of our car and without the tilt function then unpacking everything was a pain. I reached out to the seller and explained the situation and ask for advice and sent pictures. Does it need a new pin? They end up sending us out a replacement. Wow. Helluva great customer service experience. The rack with the broken pin (probably still lodged in there to this day) we were told to dispose of but we donated it to a charity and they were so excited to receive it. But at the end of the day know this: they stand by their products and want you to be satisfied. And I love love love the rack. Easy to load and unload. Love the locks so we feel secure leaving it on there overnight (not the bikes though!). The rack is perfect and gets lots of compliments. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Good product. Easy to assemble
Size: Foldable Electric 2-Bike Rack
Easy to assemble. The hitch connection has me a little worried because the expansion handle seems to jiggle loose a little bit. So I put on a strap to make sure the stinger stays in the hitch

  • Extremely Happy!
Size: Foldable Electric 2-Bike Rack
Just assembled and mounted our bikes to this well built, designed and reasonably priced e-bike hitch rack. Handled my wife’s e-bike (55 bs.) and my trek road bike easily. No wobble or rattle. Hitch locking mechanism is great and easy. Support arms are strong and lock down as well. Easy break down and fold up. Spent a lot of time researching and am very happy with my choice. Now, this is with no road test. Will follow up on this review after. I’m confident it will be good.——FOLLOW UP REVIEW—here we are about 17 months later- have made several road trips with my Highlander, including hauling down to Florida from Chicago-have only one problem—when loaded this rack so sturdy you don’t realize it is there. Very sturdy and secure and easy to handle (72 yrs old) and load. Highly recommend—-10/1/25. Kg ... show more

  • Very pleased so far
Size: Foldable Electric 2-Bike Rack
I am a petite older woman who likes doing everything for herself. I have a 41 lb. pedalassist bike (and my boyfriend has a very lightweight road bike,) and I needed a lightweight bike rack to transport both bikes. This rack was easy to assemble, and it's lightweight enough I can easily install and remove it from my trailer hitch. That's not to say it doesn't seem heavyweight enough to do the job. I've only used it once, but it did just what it was supposed to do: carry both bikes safely and without wobbling, tilt out to access the hatch of my 4Runner, and not stick out too far in busy city traffic. It stands easily in a corner of my tiny condo garage, and the price was right--much, much less than the heavier brand name racks I couldn't lift anyway! ... show more

  • Impressive, for this novice bike rider.
Size: Foldable Electric 2-Bike Rack
We're in our 50's and want to get back into bike riding. Since we're starting back up after years, we decided to go electric and bought two used electric bikes. Unfortunately the original owners put them together from a box kit and got the instructions wrong. So we needed to take them to a bike shop and have them looked over/fixed. Hence my sudden research into bike racks. We decided on the Arksen because of the ability to tilt. We thought it would be helpful loading our large heavy bikes onto it. My first impression on opening the box was they took some pains to try to be sustainable. There were only a few foam inserts for cushioning. The rest was heavy duty cardboard. VERY heavy duty. In some places they used two boards glued together. The instructions were very well written, except for a minor issue of what tools to use. The instructions do say you'll need a box wrench and an Allen wrench, but they don't say WHAT SIZE! I imagine anyone with a standard "bicycle repair kit" would have the tools, but mine hadn't arrived yet, so I had to do some searching to find the right sizes. Other than that, assembly went very smoothly. Once I got it installed on my car, I put the bike on it. Each bike weighs nearly 75 pounds so all in all it was the about weight of a full grown person sitting on our hitch. The bike rack handled it with no issues. Next I was impressed by the amount of straps the rack has. Once I was done wrapping and tightening everything both bikes were locked to the rack and didn't move an inch. I mistakenly left my car's rear hatch open, so I needed to try out the "tilt" feature right away. Tilting was difficult, but that's because the release pin had 150 pounds of bike standing on it. But once I got the pin out tilting went very smoothly. I got the hatch closed with room to spare and was able to tilt the bikes back up. Finally, security. I didn't plan on leaving the bikes alone for any amount of time, but I did like all the security measures this rack has. The rack itself "locks" into the car's hitch. No amount of jostling will remove it, unless you have a key. The bikes themselves are "locked" to the rack by two downward pressure bars, also locked with the same key. For the price I paid, I found this a well put together, well designed bike rack, using quality steel and only plastic where necessary. It was also packaged thoughtfully. If anyone asks, this is the rack I'd recommend to them. ... show more

  • I love it!
Size: Foldable Electric 2-Bike Rack
OMG! I love it! It perfectly fits to my Tesla Model Y Juniper (no need to buy extension to make it longer), it is durable, wobble free, high quality material, I love the fact that it can easily fold up and down, I love the lockable hooks. I also like the fact that it is not too robust like some other top platform bike racks. Since I carry only 1 mountain bike, I didn't install the wheel holders and 2nd hook for 2nd bike. If I need to in the future I can still do it later. Also, there is a slot for the plastic straps so they don't need to hang low down as it is shown on the pictures. I just simply slide them to the other slot. Also, the plastic straps are thick enough to last forever. I think it is really worth the price when comparing to other top platform bike racks. I didn't want to buy Tesla's bike rack, because it is way too expensive and this one is perfect. I'm really happy with this bike rack. I recommend it for 100%. ... show more
