  • As good as the OEMTOOLs
I actually bought this for removing the suspension yoke on a GMC Envoy. None of the pullers from AutoZone were thin enough to fit behind the yoke. So, I bought the cheapest pitman arm puller I could find on Amazon with the intention of filing down the arms. When it arrived, it was the same quality as the OEMTOOLs and I might actually say slightly better. The arms were already thinner and I only had to file off a couple millimeters for it to fit. Then it worked great and popped the yoke right off. Perfect $13 investment to get the job done. ... show more

  • Works great on Jeep Cherokee
Size: 1-1/16" Pitman Arm Puller
This tool worked fine to replace tie rod ends and steering stabilizer stud on a 1991 Jeep Cherokee XJ. The tool I received differed from the dimensions on Amazon. Amazon says width between the jaws is 1 1/6 inch. The tool I received had width between jaws of 1 1/4 inch. Worked great this first, easy, time, so I can't say how it will fare when the going gets tough. ... show more

  • Well made
It was too small for what I needed it for. The right size tool for a smaller ball joint!

Works great

  • Works as designed on 1969 Camaro
This inexpensive ball joint separator worked perfectly on both tie rod ends and ball joints. On the ball joints I left the loosened nut with small gap to allow the joint to "snap" loose without separating completely from the spindle making it easier to manage as mine were assemblies including the rotor and caliper. I did heat the area slightly around the joint stud/nut area to make separation easier. I also recommend some lubricant on the tool threads so the bolt isn't working harder to push the joint stud in. My control arms are Speed Tech tube arms and I experienced no damage at all to the boots. The tool just slid in perfectly. The only issue I see is that after this first use the silver plating is starting to come off in some areas but it's a minor issue to me. ... show more

  • Works great, recommend
It's a shame I didn't buy the product before, just makes the job simple and easy

  • Functionality
Even if you use this just one time it's worth it. I usually heat up the joint and use hammer to beat out or a puller I use for pulley's. This tool slips on and I used box end wrench to tighten and it broke my tie rod ends immediately, very easy. This tool does not damage part so if need be you can reuse tie rod. It might be a little small for my F150 ball joints but have not tried yet. It appears to be well made but have not used it enough to test longevity. ... show more

  • Lifesaver

This tool was insanely helpful with my ball joints and tie rod ends. I don't think I would have been able to separate some of those joints without it. Money well spent.
