I purchased this lamp to replace the ugly builder fixture that came with the house. I was looking for something more modern to go with the accent wall I recently wallpapered. This light was easy to install because it was a similar size base as the light that we pulled out - yeah for not needing to cut or patch drywall! It also used all the same wiring so no need to call an electrician. The light comes in pieces - there's the base, and then all the individual spears. The spears get screwed in one-by-one after the base is installed. Time consuming but not hard. As you can see in the pictures, I installed this light over the mirror instead of on the ceiling as the manufacturer shows. The lights I chose are the 4000 ones as recommended in the product description - they're definitely bright but not overwhelming, even in a powder room, though I wouldn't stare at them directly for too long! I performed a glam makeover on my closet this summer, and I wanted a loud statement light fixture to complete the look. This was perfect! It's gorgeous and golden and sparkly and BRIGHT. I did find it a bit difficult to install, but I also was by myself - the hardest part was finding a way to support the weight of the structure while re-wiring. Definitely recommend NOT doing what I did and instead having a friend to help you with that part. Pretty chandelier- easy to assemble and install. Description and sizing are correct but I should say that pictures presenting the product have different size of the chandelier (on pictures it’s bigger), actual size smaller and obviously look different in real life. But I still like it
