The photos and lighting show a little red but it is not! I’m extremely happy with this rug and honestly impressed with the quality for the price. I ordered the 8’ x 10’ size and it looks even better in person than in the photos. The colors are true to the listing and blend perfectly with my room decor without looking cheap or overly printed. Right out of the package, there was very little odor, and it flattened out immediately. The rug has decent weight and doesn’t slide around much. The texture is soft underfoot but still feels durable. It’s comfortable enough to sit on, and my kids and pets love laying on it. One thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to maintain. Dirt and crumbs vacuum up easily, and the pattern helps hide small messes. It also doesn’t show footprints as much as some other rugs I’ve owned. For the price point, this rug exceeded my expectations. It looks far more expensive than it is and instantly elevated the look of my space.     • Thin and cheap but washable
I was looking for a rug to put in the half bath in our basement that gets used a couple of times per week at most. The house came with some pieces of carpet as rugs for the areas of the basement with linoleum flooring, but, my cat being the cat that he is, they got ruined by urine, got thrown out, and were never replaced (for the cat lovers out there, we have addressed a litter box issue and he has been to the vet, but he still sometimes pees on rugs if his litter box hasn't been freshly scooped). The room is about 5'2" wide, so this runner fits perfectly. It's washable, which might be the most important thing. The colors fit well with the linoleum and add a little bit more color to the room, which is otherwise all neutrals. It is very thin and the pattern is printed on the rug. There really isn't any padding to speak of, but it does offer some protection against the basement floor, which gets pretty cold. It is soft, but not plush (it is thin, after all). It feels fine against bare skin. It's nicer than cold linoleum and comes at a perfect price. We have some other thin, cheap washable rugs in the house and they hold up well to washing out pet mess of various kinds (the cat is old and pukes a lot, so I have a larger rug on the basement carpet where the cat likes to puke the most, because it's far less of a pain to wash the rug than to shampoo the carpet), and they air dry quickly and feel better after a wash than they do out of the package. If you are having issues with folds from packaging, try washing the rug. For the price, you can't go wrong with rugs like this if you are looking to spice up a drab room or to just give your feet a slightly nicer experience. ... show more

    • Stylish, Easy-to-Wash Rug That Works Great for Everyday Use
I am very happy with this washable rug overall. The vintage-style print is not everyone's cup of tea, but it looks great in the room and adds warmth and some vibrant colors without feeling too busy. It lays flat pretty quickly after unrolling, and the material feels soft enough for everyday use while still being practical. It's easy to clean any spills or messes since it doesn't have much thickness to it and also the material is not very absorbent. The washable feature is a big plus for us because we have a dog. I’ve washed it once already and it held up well, which was a relief. The size works well for larger spaces like a living room or dining area and helps tie the room together. My only minor complaint is that it’s a bit thinner than I expected, so a rug pad underneath definitely helps with comfort and keeping it in place. These rugs are ok but they don't seem to lay flat . I've purchased several rugs that came folded up and did not have this issue. They've been on the floor now for 4 days and they still have wrinkles in them!

    • Gorgeous Rug, but get a decent rug pad. Looks much more expensive
I can't get over how beautiful this rug is, for the price point. As others have said, the rug is really thin. But don't let that stop you. I would definitely use a quality rug pad underneath, which will only make it look better. The headscratcher here is the packaging. They fold it into a roughly 16" in square box. I mean, that's fine...but you WILL have creases. Just stretch it out as far as you want it and then put books or something weighty enough to hold it in place. It'll take a bit to work those creases out, but it's worth it...at least so far. They advertise these kinds of rugs as being machine washable and although im sure it would be fine...I will take mine to the laundromat. One last thing...if you have a heavy duty vacuum, you'll need to put it on the lowest rim setting it has. I can't use my Shark Stratos, as even on its lowest setting it's just too much. I may just use a cheap stick vac on it, which im sure would be fine. But it is a BEAUTIFUL rug. Very rich colors and, at least with a 1/2" rug pad, it looks much more expensive than the close to $50 spent... ... show more
