I bought this to use in my garage in tandem with an old golf net I have set up at one end. 13.5 feet would be perfect to hit bounce returns. Unfortunately, on the #1 setting, it is serving the ball at 17.5 feet before it bounces, not the 13.5 feet advertised. My garage is not long enough to hit a bounce return at that distance, so all I can do is volley it out of the air. Having it serve long is not a problem if using it on a pickleball court, in fact it may be an added benefit. I am talking to customer service and had to verify with a video that is hitting long. Will advise later the resolution on it, it is still in the resolution process. They have been very receptive so far though. Other than serving long, it works great. Edit 10/27. They would have replaced or refunded it, but I decided to keep it. I have it set off to the side of the net so it is serving at an angle (which compensates for the longer distance) and I can now hit bounce returns. Still working great. I use an extension cord plugged into an outlet close by to where I stand, and I have a switch on the outlet so I can turn it on and off without running back to the machine. Upgraded to 4 stars.

This is great for being the best at third shot drops if you dont have a friend to practice with. Its also great at setting up for slamming the ball at the net. ( a surprising amount of players miss the easy put aways.) Dont expect far hard hitting balls with this. Great for beginner lessons. If you are giving lessons to beginners, this will set you apart from other trainers with little investment. Worth the money.

I have a setup in my basement. Originally got a higher model but it turned out to be too powerful. Exchanged for this model and it was just right. Have been drilling with this ball machine for a couple of months and it has worked out well. Recently had an issue with the machine and felt lost without it. Drilling is 100% more fun with it. Customer support was quick and great. Got my issue resolved.

I really want to love this product, it’s perfect using indoor space like my living room. BUT the quality of the product is disappointing. First one I bought, suddenly stopped working. Seller was nice enough to send a replacement machine. Unfortunately the replacement machine stopped working all the sudden again after minimal indoor use. This product needs serious upgrade, or re-engineering why does it break so easy!!! Frustrating experiences. I purchased this ball machine 6 month ago to practice hitting pickle ball at home. Used maybe once a week. Today when I turned it on, it launched couple of balls and suddenly stopped. Checked on connection, unplugged, turned on and off… the turning feature is still working, but couldn’t get ball launcher work. Looks like it’s dead!!! Do not recommend this product. Update: After my initial disappointment with the product, the seller saw my review and reached out to me. Whitney, their customer representative, contacted me and offered a replacement. Their customer service went above and beyond to make things right, and I truly appreciate their dedication to customer satisfaction. They promptly sent a new item, which works perfectly, and I’m very pleased with my purchase. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a company handles them—and this seller, especially Whitney, exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: Customer service contacted me after my review and took care of the situation. The machine may have malfunctioned but the customer service is great! I upgraded to 3 stars from 1 star. ————————————————————— Wish I could give 0 stars. Bought the recycling net from the same company and was excited to try out this ball machine in conjunction with it. Worked well for the first 3 minutes and then the motor stopped. The bottom will turn off and on while spinning left and right but the top motor won’t turn on anymore. Within THREE minutes of using it for the first time!!! Tried unplugging it, using different AC adapter, using different outlet, nothing worked. I received a machine that was basically Dead on Arrival. Do not recommend.
