I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and sturdiness for the price. It took about 10 minutes to assemble which was straight-forward. I'm using it to add light over a dining table. I also attached a dimmer and used a dimmable 15W LED bulb which works great. It's nice and bright.

It's pretty and good price..however the light is insanely bright and white while the shade was very small. Wish the height could be adjusted as well as a dimmer or three click because it's sooo bright. I had to order new bulbs and that drum is so small I'm on the fence of completely ordering a new lamp as it's over our sectional and looks a bit mis proportional. ... show more

I wasn’t expecting such a high quality piece for the $40 price I paid, but holy bananas… the base is heavy so it is sturdy even on carpet. The foot on/off switch is extremely convenient. Easy to build and not wobbly at all even on carpet… I would purchase again.
