I liked the efficiency. I used it for a cross country trip and back and it performed flawlessly, 31 days! I have the 50 qt model. Only negative is in very humid conditions (south Florida) it does sweat. Used it as a freezer only.

So far lives up to its reputation. doesn't use much battery power and things stay evenly cold. Soooo much nicer than replacing ice in a cooler all the time and having soggy food when something isnt perfectly water tight. we use it on car trips as much as camping. We have a seperate small battery to power the fridge when the car is off. Depending on how cold we set it (it will freeze stuff if youi want) we average about 1amp hour per hour so even a super small 14amp hour battery will power it for two nights. (a typical car battery is 30 to 50amp hour) I knocked off a star because the internal temp of the fridge is always several degrees off of what the front panel says it is. But it is consistent so once you find out how much yours is off you can just program to a slightly higher or lower temperature on the front panel. A great fridge so far. ... show more

This works perfectly in the van or camper van for long trips or beach days... don’t have to worry about ice anymore. Only drawback is it’s heavy especially after it’s packed with food... but that’s something that we can work around.
