Euhomy 12 Volt 19QT Refrigerator / Freezer -An Absolute Must Have

I bought this 19QT Euhomy 12 Volt Refrigerator / Freezer for a 4 day fishing & hiking trip in Jasper TX this past week. I needed something to keep my water, gatorade, juice and food cold while driving and while outdoors but I also wanted something that was energy efficient and small enough to carry around and load in and out of my suv. I've read a good number of positive reviews on this 19QT refrigerator / freezer and that did help to influence my decision along with the very affordable price on this. This 12 Volt refrigerator / freezer performed absolutely fantastic and was actually better than I had expected it to perform. The build quality is up there with the big name brands and it is solidly construction and is very well insulated. I had it set to 15 degrees F on the way home and all of my drinks were frozen by the end of the 3 hour drive. I left it unplugged in my garage in Houston for 9 hours afterwards and the drinks were still frozen - this tells me it has great insulation and a very good sealing lid. After letting it sit for 24 hrs from receiving it, I plugged it into a 300 Watt solar / battery power generator that I planned on using it with while on my trip, it was 75 degrees in my house when I plugged it in and I set it for -4 degrees. During startup with it set to Max Mode, it did draw 49 Watts and was rapidly cooling down and within 2 hours it had dropped down to 30 degrees while empty. I put it on ECO Mode and the draw wattage dropped to almost 30 Watts and continued to cool down until ice was forming on the inside of the cooler (Texas Humidity) yes it did hit 0 degrees easily and I still had a lot of battery left on the battery powered generator. The next day I loaded it with cold water and cold gatorade and food from my home freezer and loaded it in the SUV and powered it off of the 12 Volt cord plugged into the cigarette lighter. Using the Euhomy App on my android phone, I was able to set and monitor the temperature very easily - that was great since the cooler was behind my seat and I couldn't really see the controls while driving. I drove most of the 3 hour trip with it running on ECO Mode and it was set to 20 degrees but the cooler was only cooling down to 24 degrees on ECO Mode - I am okay with that small variance. I used my solar / battery powered 300 Watt generator to keep it running inside my SUV while I was fishing and hiking throughout the day and when I was ready for a cold bottle of water or gatorade, this little refrigerator delivered like a champ - ice cold drinks. I will say that it is VERY Quiet too. Add that to the reliability, the ease of use, very little power draw and that it can actually freeze food or drinks and keep them frozen very well makes this an absolute must have. I cannot express enough of how impressed and pleased that I am that I bought this brand.

Great fridge or freezer

My favorite hotels have switched out mini fridges for drink coolers. Those are nice for soda but not perishables like milk. I was looking at various makes and some are only fridge. Some can be both at same time but have smaller compartments. Some include ice maker. I don't need ice maker and didn't see need to have both fridge and freezer at same time. This make was at a great price as a lightning deal and I'm so glad I got it. I plugged in right away and within an hour temp was down to a good refrigerator temp. I then lowered the temp to zero to check it's freezer function. It dropped fairly quickly to set temp and I put in some chicken breasts, that I'd repackaged onto meal portions. Had just bought some gelato so I put that in too. Gelato stayed frozen and chicken froze solid. Left these for a few days and checked periodically and temp has stayed as set with no problem. This is a great investment for anyone looking to go on road trips or picnics as it comes with a cigarette lighter cord so you can plug into your car and know you won't need to deal with ice packs in a cooler or bags of ice leaking and getting your food soggy. I plan on filling this with what I'll want handy in my hotel room, and I can set it at home to pack, unplug and plug into car for trip then bring it in and plug in the room. For picnics, there are cup holders in the lid. This will be invaluable, though small, as I can also plug this into my emergency power source when the power goes out. It won't hold a full home freezer but can certainly hold the more expensive and perishable items, like meat and fish. There are different sizes, and I got a small one. There are just 2 of us using this and as seniors, I didn't want something that would be too heavy to lift. Empty this is easily carried by either of us but when full, we'll be able to carry this together. I filled it to see how much I could fit and to see how heavy it would be. All in all, a great product which I'll gladly recommend to friends and family that like to travel.

Awesome purchase

After a lot of comparisons, I decided on this Euhomy refrigerator for my new Tesla. It is great in so many ways, only missing a wifi connectivity as the Bluetooth does not reach very far. But even that shouldn't deter you from this purchase as it cools quickly and is dependable. I have wanted a car fridge for quite some time to make trips with cold items easier and worry free. Having a chill place to store restaurant leftovers on a longer trip home, or just having the option to make a stop or two without concern about spoilage, is very freeing. This unit is affordable and you just plug it in and turn it on. I do not have any regrets with this purchase. I am very pleased with it!

No Worries ... As Advertised

Our story ... So We lost Our Fridge-Freezer which was only 14-15mos old. During the repair process We decided to purchase one of the Euhomy coolers to get Us by until the Fridge/Freezer was repaired or replaced. This one is the 26Quart/25 Liter model, which is approximately the size of a standard/average sized cooler. This is Euhomy's middle of the road Fridge-Freezer/cooler, and doesn't have Bluetooth, or app controls ... so more of a functional model without all the bells and whistles. I pulled the unit out of the box, looked it over, and read the Owner's manual (yeah !). This model comes with 2 seperate converters, to operate the unit using standard 115-120 AC , and 12-24 V DC ... so everything needed is in the box. The Owner's manual strongly encourages You to let the unit sit for 12 hours before using, and We did by placing Ours near an AC power source for the initial start-up. The next day, I started the unit up on AC power with no problem. Then moved it to the Truck, and then Car to check the operations using DC power with no problems. Be reasonable or don't move or jostle the unit excessively when changing locations from a fixed to mobile application because of the refrigerent as described in the Owner's manual "before 1st use" ( just a suggestion). The bottom line ... read the Owner's manual including the troubleshooting notes. It only takes several minutes, and if You have any issues it may provide those necessary tips to correct or solve things. The LED controls are intuitive, and again ... read the Owner's manual as anything You don't understand can be solved at a glance. This is a great unit for what it is, and You truly can go from ambient to freezing in approx 20mins. It's so flexible, I'm going to toss it in the back of the Car for the Wife to use when shopping out of town. It will be great to keep the meats or produce cool during the Summer mos. PS ... This would be great to use for camping, and/or supplement what You may already have. And You can use it with a Solar generator. It's been a week since purchase/delivery and it's everything they advertised. Would I purchase another one ? Absolutely ... and would recommend this unit for any short term applications.

Keeps cold at a steady temperature.

This is a great portable refrigerator. We had an 8 hour drive to the upper part of Michigan and an 8 hour drive to Tennessee ⁹and both times it worked out great for drinks and snacks for the ride. Kept everything cold and very convenient. Would recommend anyone that drives long distances buy one. Works great!!

no air circulation

cools to 45 quick then stops. Great, thats what i set it to. However all the water inside is still hot. If you touch the walls of the fridge they are indeed 45 degrees cold. You see the issue here? Yea... since this does not circulate air like a normal fridge, it can never know the real temperature of the items inside. If you leave it on overnight, stacked full of hot water bottles, they will all be chilled by morning. Its really slow, but it works, and they will be chilled even in an oven of a car.

Works Great. Purchased after reading reviews and was not disappointed. Tested in home and temp got to 40 degrees in 20 minutes and then 30 degrees in another 20 minutes. Took it with us on a road trip to Sturgis for bike week. Spent first 2 days in the car and brought into hotel room at night. Then used it at our campground for 8 days mainly outside but covered by an RV. then we used it in our vehicle on for 3 days on the way home. Basically used for 13 days straight mostly on 120v but occasionally 12v while travelling. All of the time it was used as a refrigerator and never skipped a beat. Very happy with it. Highly recommended.

Seems quality, cool’s incredibly fast.

I’m an OTR hot shot driver, I run a pickup not a semi so size was important. It’s large enough I can pack away over a weeks worth of meal prepped food and some drinks no issue. This is a life saver (literally that gas station food will kill you) for an OTR driver. It was freezing cold only about 10 minutes after plugging it in, I have to pay attention to hear the compressor kick on. Doesn’t seem to cycle a lot and that’s a good thing. Over all I’m satisfied so far, I’ll run this thing constantly over the next few months and I’ll update if I run into any issues.
