Box was kinda rough, dirty and seem like it was opened and taped back up and wasn't even taped properly. When I opened the box there was a few dusty finger prints. That kinda made me nervous, however, the monitor is fine. Seem like someone at the warehouse had a peak or something. Now about the monitor; It's a samsung monitor so the quality is there, the stand is made from metal, everything clicks into place no need for tools (the one screw at the foot can be screwed with your fingers, don't need a tool to overtighten it). All the reviews I've watch about VA panels are kind of misleading for the most part. They all talk as if VA panels are unbearable but it's not even bad. I bought this monitor without knowing the panel tech until I researched and I had my doubt but seeing it in person it's good enough. Viewing angles are great, the black smearing everyone talks about is there but it only gets distracting when I focus on it (and you have to really nitpick to see it) it's there but not bad as how everyone says or at least not on this monitor. It's my first monitor and so far it great. Not features packed but it has the necessary features like brightness, black levels, game mode settings etc. It's also bright and vibrant with sharp visuals. It can also do 4k@60 if you disable freesync. Overall solid monitor for a starter and casual gamer who normally games on TVs (like myself). My only annoyance is the really bright power light when the monitor is in stanby, it's annoyingly bright at night I have to unplug the monitor to sleep in peace. ... show more

The monitor is easy to setup however it is not easily configurable to monitor mounts and has false advertising saying 180 hz, the max display was 144. Personally I would not have made this purchase knowing this in retrospect.
