I purchased the HEX035 and noticed some issues with the fan. It seemed to shake a lot and make a rattling noise. I contacted the manufacturer. They were very fast to follow up with me. They gave a few suggestions which I preformed for them. However, the issues with the unit weren’t solved. They contacted me last night and old me they are sending me a replacement unit. Have to say, even with the issues. These folks really took the time to make things right.

You are going to need to be a plumber or higher one. Why, the instructions are for crap!!!! Good luck finding a good installation video either. Don't go one their website looking for help either, the one youtube video is for a different model and doesn't show hook up from scratch the guy uses his old pvc connections. So do you get to see how it was done, no you don't. I cannot express how livid I am in this momment. I have a very expensive yard ornament right now. When I get it hooked up, AFTER SPENDING ANOTHER WHAT 500ISH FOR A PLUMBER, I will write an add on to the functionality of the unit. Until then 1 star it is. Hire someone to rewrite your instructions cause even my husband who works construction found them unhelpful and confusing.

This product was very easy to install and far less expensive than others. Additional one year warranty with product registration or replacement. I could not find a better warranty. I had previously purchased an Armstrong pool pump and was totally satisfied with the product and customer support. This 35,000btu inverter heat pump has only been running for a few days but appears to be working exceptionally well. The wi-fi interface made start up fast and easy. I already had the Tuya app to control my pool lights so the heat pump identified my network through smart connect and added it to my app. Temperature control, start, stop, frequency, refrigerant pressures and full diagnostic info available on my phone from anywhere! Exceptionally quiet! I wasn’t sure the unit was running until I seen the fan spinning. In the coming months I will be excited to see my electric bill because of the high COP of this unit.

So far the unit is heating as it should after we got it going. Our first unit came in the display was cracked and got water in it and did it work. The second replacement unit came rather quickly and we got it hooked up, but it continually trips our GFCI breaker. The electrician that connected it says it’s common for HVAC units to do this and the only way we can run It is to not have it connected to the GFCI which obviously it’s not good. I’ve emailed the company because there’s no phone numbers to call…..That’s the reason for the four star rating as of now is heating well. I’ll update rating as time goes, but it’s very quiet bad Seems to be very efficient and heats quickly. We have a 17,000 gallon in ground fiberglass pool and heating has increased it by 10° in about 10 hours.

Best heater I've ever had owned. Set up was quick and easy. This unit is quieter than a small window Air Conditioner. Temperature has increased about a degree an hour with Ambient temperature at 65 degree. Pool is at 75 up from 62 in one day! This is a must have for any pool owner!

This is the second unit I have received from Aquastrong. I am not sure if this is me not understanding the display but both units only work when the display states it is off. If I can get an answer on this my rating will change. The manual does not explain this.

Works fine easy to setup but now thirty one days , in the controller panel will not light up. Support my A-- just try and get support. I am so tired of buying CHINESE JUNK and there is no recourse When it fails, just dont buy it.

This heater is a Beast. I have a 13 / 48 above ground. That is about 3500 gallons, and it's consistently heating it to about 82°. That's in one day of running! Highly recommend!
