I am very satisfied with this pool heater. The product arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was easy to install and program. It only took a few days to get my 30k gallon pool from about 70 degrees to 85 degrees. Now, it runs 3 or 4 hours a day when the pool pump runs and has no problem keeping the temperature where I want it. After shopping around a bit, I thought this was a good value. Of course, after I bought it, I found the same unit for a couple hundred dollars less on another site. Not too worried about it though since the overall process went so smoothly.

Unit was delivered in good shape shipping container was unblemished. Unfortunately, after installation the unit leaked internally causing water loss of approx 1" daily. Leak is somewhere inside the plumbing of the unit a clear manufacturing defect. Warranty service is unavailable as Raypak can not find and technicians in the area to service the unit. Raypak attempted to send out a HVAC service tech whom very politely informed me that he has no idea how to fix the leak and would not open the unit attempt it. Raypak (manufacture) communication after this 1 service call has been absent, they refuse to acknowledge request for refund or replacement of unit, and have not sent out another tech. In The Swim (seller) has consistently advised me to contact manufacture Raypak. Amazon has refused to honor "A to Z Guarantee" as leak was reported after 30 day return window. Bottom line-I have a faulty unuseable pool heater that no one in the area will service and all 3 corporations involved deny assistance. FYI--according to BBB website this is a common manufacturing problem with Raypak, but do your own research.

After ordering this unit from Amazon Tropical Supply took over and made the purchase and delivery so easy. Great communication and customer service were great. The unit has been online for 2 weeks and we’re really pleased with it’s performance!

For this kind of $$$ to get this. It was a long journey for sure. I was refunded n bought unit from local pool store. The cost was $300 more but with no headaches. New one installed works wonderful n glad I stayed local. Won't make this mistake again.

Bought this heat pump two years ago and already broke. Raypak has no body to service the units under warranty. So we are stuck with a broken heat pump with a warranty that will expire because nobody can work on them. Be careful when selecting your pool heat pump and ask who services them in your area.
