The media could not be loaded. I’m watching a neighbors Fish and noticed it keeps going to the top like it’s gulping air. I felt it needed an Air pump in the tank even though it’s really small. The bubbles are not overpowering and the single fish seems to swim near the bubbles .The pump seems to be pretty quiet. It’s not silent but it’s fine comes with plenty of tube and a valve with 2 tiny filters that go at the bottom of the actual pump when the first one gets clogged. For 10 bucks I cannot complain it works. And seems to be quality. There is no control over the air flow . Overall it works. ... show more

I do not usually write reviews but, I want others to think about this when placing an order for these. I ordered 3 for various size fish tanks to us with my sponge filters. The pump is very quit which I really like. If there is one filter in the tank it works great for a tank up to 10 gallons. Anything over 10 it doesn't produce enough air flow. If you are using 2 sponge filters with this pump or a filter and a bubbler in a tank of any size it will not work. I wanted to put a sponge filter and a bubbler in a 3 gallon tank for my beta that loves to play in the bubbles. The sponge would work but the bubbler wouldn't work. I have an older Tetra pump that is up to 10 gallons and It works great with two bubblers in my 10 gallon tank. I took it and tested it in my 3 gallon to make sure there was not an issue with my filter and bubbler and it works great. I recommend trying a different pump for more air flow. ... show more

I originally gave this pump four stars. I've reduced it to three stars because I've recently discovered it's not strong enough to handle two lines. Context: I use this pump for hydroponics, oxygenating the water that I grow my peace lily in. I expanded my hydroponic collection and installed a splitter to run a second line from this pump to the new water vessel. I tested for air leaks along the lines and at the connections.
