I bought the red heart-shaped planter when it was still chilly outside, thinking ahead to garden season—and I’m so glad I did! Now that spring is in full bloom, I’ve noticed the price creeping up a bit (totally expected during peak gardening season), so if you’re on the fence, trust me: buy now before it goes any higher. It only took me about 30 minutes to put together, and that’s saying something—because I’m getting older and bending over for long periods isn’t as easy as it used to be. These raised beds are a lifesaver. They bring the garden up to me, which makes planting and tending so much easier on the back and knees. I now have both the red and yellow heart planters, and they are absolutely beautiful in the yard. The metal is sturdy without being too heavy—easy to carry around and reposition if needed. Not flimsy at all, and the bold colors really pop. Every time I look outside, they just make me smile. If you’re hesitating, don’t! This raised bed was easy to assemble—no tools are necessary. It is a nice size and very visually appealing. I chose the heart as it was for a garden in memory of someone. I liked it enough that I have purchased another one in a different shape for our school garden.
