The material is built well, sturdy and I'm confident it will last for many years. The installation is extremely tedious. The first try we failed and had to recoil the wall and take it all down. My advice would be to not insert the bottom track rails all the way into the footings and then uncoil the wall and shrink the circumference of the track and footings to make the ends of the wall meet up. It's a two person job, minimum and still took about 8 hours. This is without dirt work. I hired someone to pour a 17' diameter perfectly round and smooth concrete slab for the foundation. If you install on concrete, use 4'x8' insulation board instead of sand, in the bottom. Buy a rhino liner for the top of the insulation board and definitely buy cove. Good luck.

Pool comes with NO LINER. Just a frame. This fact should be written largely in the title description, not as an additional note in small print. It should not say "FAMILY SWIMMING POOL FOR BACK YARD." "Family Pool frame" is what it should say. For $1500 there should be a liner for water!!!

For the price, the product is good! We purchased the Cornelius Pools 18’ round 52” deep, the skimmer cutout was the “widemouth” shape as can be seen in the photos. The kit we purchased for pump and sand filter (Intex) had the standard square skimmer and the connection fittings were different than the skimmer/return fittings we had to purchase to work with the pool wall. The most difficult part of the install was the ground prep. We rented a mini excavator from HD and leveled out the area within a couple hours. We bought the thickest liner we could! Took over 1 ton of sand... we landscaped and installed low voltage lighting which turned out amazing IMO! Not bad for a first attempt. Kids are absolutely loving the pool this summer!!!

The steel pool itself is good . The only problem was that the liner itself must have been a return the way the box was so heavenly taped up. After installing the liner and filling the pool with water I discovered it had 7 small slits in the liner. Though it kinda odd at first glance why the box wa so heavily taped up,

It’s a beautiful pool, and it wasn’t too hard to assemble. But you just need to understand that it needs to be, and I mean completely, windless day. Any unexpected breezes can really muff things up. Also, you really need to have like at least four people. Five would be better. Just to hold the walls up wall your unraveling to spool of pool wall around in circles, and holding it in place in the track. Also, and this is important, when spreading out the liner and bringing it up to the pool lip, pay attention that all lines are even, so that it’s not lopsided. Sounds obvious, doesn’t it. Yeah ok, you’ll see, lol. Also, when pulling that liner around, if the sun is out, it is rapidly absorbing heat and will stretch. Be careful. Slow and steady wins the race. You’re going to get impatient and just want to get it done. If you do and you overlook a fold or a crease or misalignment, you’ll just have to do twice the work later to correct your mistake. So slow your roll there speedy and do it right the first time. It’s worth it.

Make sure you are ready to buy a liner with the pool frame. The frame is all you get. The customer service could not explain that the first replacement, they were under the impression the liner came with the frame that they even sent and second pool frame because i quot "the liner is only available with the pool frame" when the the trucked showed up with the replacement, I declined the drop off of the replacement when I noticed again no liner. Again called the company and they explained at this time no liner was given with the frame. Lot of hassle, After getting the liner, we love the pool. Held up when my boy had friends over at the age of 15.. do recommend clamps or friends when putting up.
