The seller has kindly sent a new pump for me to try. I am hopeful this works well. Thank you. I have had koi ponds for nearly 30 years and run several filtering systems and water features simultaneously. I purchased this pump to run an additional filter system. Within a few days the outflow tubing was down to barely a trickle. Opening the pump reveals a sponge filter between the intake cover and the motor. It accumulates debris sooo fast and slows down the outflow to a trickle that I removed the sponge filter piece. I also placed the pump in a filtering bag to help catch debris before it enters the pump. ... show more
