From the Inside it is difficult to see the status of the lock because the thumb knob is black on black and the other controls are low. It would be really nice if the thumb knob was of some other color and or be fluorescent.

I thought this was malfunctioning because when it was locked the outside knob turned. I thought it was supposed to stay rigid. It turns but the bolt does not turn. It took me less than five minutes to install. The software took less than five minutes to install and it took about 7 minutes to register and configure it, including registration of my thumbprint. I did not use their strike plate but kept my original from the Schlage lock. Similarly, it used the same screw holes and mounting hole as the Schlage lockset did. Very easy. The keys work. The unit charged up to green in about an hour. I think I'll need to use a remote battery to charge it and plan to do that once a month to be safe.

The Bluetooth does not stay connected therefore the door does not lock as it should, nor am I able to lock it from my phone. Doesn’t matter how close I am to the door. From being in my bed to directly in front of it the Bluetooth will not connect. I have installed & reinstall works for 30 mins and right back to the same issue again.

This product has been fantastic so far. It's incredibly user-friendly and simple to install, and registering fingerprints is a breeze. I haven't had the chance to try out the pin code function yet. The rechargeable battery, along with the type-c charging port, provides convenient power options. Additionally, the switch on the back allows for easy disabling of the locking mechanism when I'm at home.

Everything about this doorknob is mostly great. It works well and it is easy to install. I also thought that having a rechargeable battery would be a cool feature, but it has turned out to be kind of a pain. The battery life isn't all that great on it and we have to recharge it a lot. And speaking of that, we don't have an easy way to do that being that there's not a super close outlet. So it consists of setting up an obnoxious setup to get the job done. It's ok, but I would not purchase it again for other doors.
