  • Versatile sprinkler
Simple but effective. Works with high or low water pressure in a way that I could soak a small 5x3 area or a large 40x30 area or any size in between. The only minor issue I have is the hose to sprinkler connection leaks. I'm hoping a thick soft rubber hose washer (when I find some) will seal the deal better that the thin plastic washer that comes with the sprinkler solves this issue. ... show more

  • Cheap, low quality
Very low quality. The connection from the unit to the hose connection was a “snap-on” type, not threaded like a hose end connection . It repeatedly snapped off, with very little stress applied, making it almost impossible to move the unit around the yard. It was lightweight plastic, not sturdy at all, and rotator head, advertised at having many spray options rotated once, then repeatedly froze up and would not oscillate. Save your money. ... show more

  • The best sprinkler I've used in a long time.
Love this sprinkler especially if you have a small area to water but it also will water a bigger area too. It's quiet and works awesome. I put a timer on it and sety for as much time as I needed then walked away. I would buy another one if I needed to in fact I probably will anyway.

  • You have to put a hose clamp around the connector for the hose or it will pop loose if you put any
The water hose connector kept blowing off I had to put a hose clamp to keep it on,but that's the only thing wrong the mfg co needs to change that immediately before I buy another one but everything else is great

  • Bad Hose Connection
Like a number of other folks, I had a problem with connecting the hose to the sprinkler. The plastic sleeve that the hose screws into does not seal properly and the connection then leaked on both ends. The result is not only a messy puddle but also the volume of the leak is substantial and causes a considerable loss in water pressure to the spray unit. Nothing seems to be broken, just a poorly designed connector. Edit: I decided to seal the hose connector with Loctite sealant applied inside the connector and on the outside where it fits into the base. After letting this cure properly, I applied teflon tape to the hose and screwed it into the connector. Upon turning on the water, I was pleased to see that the leaking had for the most part stopped, but a few seconds later, the connector popped off the base. Apparently, the connector /base flange isn't able to withstand normal water pressure. Not willing to give in yet. Next I'll try removing the connector and replace it with a short piece of garden hose that I'll secure to the base with a hose clamp. And lots of JB Weld. Edit 2: That worked. Used a dremel to remove the flange and raised parts of the base inlet. Then pushed a piece of garden hose on to the inlet and secured this with a hose clamp. No glue. No leaks. I may remove and reattach with glue just to be sure. The sprinkler works fine. Edit 3: Second fix failed, probably due to excessive pressure. Glue may have helped. Not being one to give up easily (LOL!!), I upped the ante a bit. Got a brass 5/8" female hose part and filed it down so that it would snugly fit inside the sprinkler base. Made four cuts in the sprinkler base to permit the clamp to tighten. Applied epoxy glue inside the base and on the brass fitting, then added the hose clamp and pushed the brass fitting inside the base. Tightened the hose clamp. Considered drilling a hole in the top of the base to screw a small metal screw into the base and brass part. This would prevent the brass part from being pushed out of the base. After curing, the sprinkler again works fine with no leaks. Spent more on parts to fix this than the thing costs. No worries, this is what keeps me going in retirement!! ... show more

  • Breaks incredibly easily
So I suggest buying this product because it really does allow you a tight watering area. However, seriously warning. This product breaks incredibly easily and must be handled with utmost care. BTW, customer service is OUTSTANDING! It broke the second time I used it. Went to their website and simple, clean, efficient they sent a replacement. Like they were so checking in on me it was bothersome, which is so rare I can not complain. Got the replacement one. Used it 5 times and it broke in a different spot. At some point you have to ask, "is it me?". And the answer was yes. I have always set up a sprinkler, run it for a while, then dragged it elsewhere in the yard via the hose so that lazily I didn't have to go turn off the water then move then turn back on..or get wet diving into it running. This is a very cheap piece of plastic, like child's toy at the dollar store cheap. Very thin plastic. And looking at the photos, it is not aerodynamic, so when you are dragging it and it twists and turns, it breaks close to instantly. Caveat emperor, buy it, it does what it advertises. But turn the water off, walk over, move it, turn the water back on. Not for lazy people. (BTW, I cannibalize the two units to make a usable one...and am now off to turn the water off and relocate it after it watered as I wrote this). ... show more

  • Fix the for connection issue.
This Oscillating Sprinkler has an over all good design. It has great coverage, adjustability and etc. However, there is a major flaw with the plastic 3/4'' connection to garden hose. That flaw being that it is leaks terribly and easily blows off. A little tug by hand or even a little bit of water pressure and that plastic circular end will disconnect. You can see numerous reviews on here that complain about it. I was ready to throw the thing in the trash tbh. What I ended up doing is removing the plastic piece end (that blows off) and installing a 5/8" Barb x 3/4" Female GHT Thread Brass Garden Hose Pipe Fitting into the plastic port. I would have preferred matching plastic to plastic but ended up using brass and wrapping the brass barbed end in some Teflon tape. I then tapped it in with a hammer and piece of wood (to not damage the brace face), got about 2-3 of the barbed edges into the plastic and tested it out. It no longer leaks or blows off and works great now. Glad I fixed it because it's a decent Oscillating Sprinkler. ... show more
