As long as the shipping is good (and mine was, as they guys who delivered it were careful in placing it down on the ground and not dropping it!) then you are good to go. The box is extremely heavy and says "2-person carry." I was only able to carry it myself a short distance before just opening it up and carrying the parts to where I wanted to assemble it. It's like Ikea furniture, as you need to spend a little over an hour putting it together carefully, but the instructions are very clear and the parts are well-labeled - and it even comes with extra parts (which I didn't need). They even put in stickers to put over the metal screws inside, so that when you are done you wouldn't even know by looking at it that it's compressed material - at least I thought that was a nice finishing touch and shows that they took time to think about the finishing details. I got two of them, so put one together on day one and the other together on day 2. You have to be careful not to over do it when screwing in things, as it's made from compressed material so I used a drill at the lowest setting and the instructions say "do not use drill" because if you had a drill without adjustable settings you would probably destroy it. I just took my time and was careful and it worked out fine. It's a lot of screws to put in, some of which use a hex screw so I was thankful for my drill bit that fit the hex and made quick work of that task! They look great in the end, and certainly worth the sale prices which are an excellent value for what you get. Very sturdy as well. Says it will hold up a TV on top up to 100 pounds, and I think that's understating what it will do once you have it all assembled. I don't see it falling apart once you get it all together. I'd buy it again (and in fact I just ordered another one in white)! ... show more

I admit it took me a long time to decide if I wanted to try this in my space or not. I read the horror stories about it arriving broken or scratched up and being hard to assemble and parts not lining up correctly. I was terrified, but it looked to be exactly what I needed for that space so I had to go ahead and try. If anyone has returned something big and heavy before, you know its an ordeal. I was pleasantly surprised. And as I was putting it together, of course I came to a piece that didn't line up. I thought, well this is what they were talking about. But it was piece number 5, the center piece that had cams on both sides. I looked at it long and hard and said hey, those cams can't be in the same place on both sides, it would break, and they weren't. I flipped it over and it was perfect. So before you get all angry and try to return this behemoth, flip piece number 5 over. It should be in the directions, but it's not. Also, the directions instruct you to put the doors on with the top hinge first. I found it much easier to put the bottom hinge on first if you are doing it by yourself. It looks beautiful, the cabinets are deep and sturdy and I am just so happy with it. ... show more

I love everything about this product it's easy to put together as long as you use the glue your fine it's sturdy and reliable, of a matter of fact it's so sturdy I bought two more of them I'm using them as entertainment stands for my TV's I have a 75" Samsung in my computer/mancave/game room and it fits it perfectly I'm using the second one out of the three I bought to put up against the other one that my 65" curved Samsung TV is in the living room for more storage and to fill in the gap of my huge wall.... Its not a waste of money just use your glue or buy your own like I did I bought gorilla wood glue and it works better but the glue it comes with will make it sturdy.... ... show more

I was skeptical of buying furniture online especially the reviews are all over the place. Took a chance because of the Prime Day pricing. It turned out great. Package was intact when delivered. Instructions were easy to follow. All the hardware was there. There was a pack of spare parts of screws, cam locks and bolts and such. It looks better than I expected and is very sturdy. Didn't take long to put together and you have a choice with the doors on the direction you want the wood pattern. It's really nice, I love it.

Mine looked just as shown when finished. It took longer than it should have. I originally emailed Walker Edison, asking for a replacement part on August 24th. The seemingly automated response, replied I would get a quicker response if I ordered the part directly and directed me where to do so. However it just said that it would speed the process. I lost my nephew the week I got it and just had more important things going on. Life is that way. I emailed on 10/1 that though I know ordering would speed up, I still expected some sort of response to the email. I was upset and as I work in customer service for a living expected more. I got a reply the next day. They were were out of the well nut. But to make up for things, offered to resend the whole unit. I just got in 10/8 It is a different color, white rather than my black one. But I just needed the part. Put it in my cabinet and all is well. It took me just over an hour to put together minus hanging the last 2 doors. It was awkward for a woman who is 5 foot 4 inches, but I managed. Laminate has came a long way. And for some companies this shows cosmetically. Not the case here. It seems to scratch fairly easily. And I know to be careful. But it is solid and will hold up for my purposes. I had priced cheaper units at the Swedish warehouse store, but the looks and style did not compare for the price. As for as the holes in the wrong place. I have noticed many prefab kits are classified as won't fit by people who don't assemble things often. I just waited on tightening the hinges. And all went well and the finished product looks lovely. A good look for the price and sized and shown. I really love I have a place to "hide," my pantry, items. I have a studio lacking in storage. This was a great by. And I am glad to have purchased this.
