These balls are consistent in the pitching machine. When using a standard USSSA softball, the pitches are inconsistent and vary depending on how the stitches hit the wheel. With the Jugs balls, that isn't a problem. These balls are similar weight to game balls. The only real difference is the bounce, these balls bounce like a rubber ball. ... show more

Bought these to use in the Heater softball pitching machine. They work with the machine extremely well and accurately. I use the machine for infield and outfield drills so using these balls is more real feel than the dimpled balls. We start our spring training in February here in Ohio so we practice indoors in the school gymnasium so these balls are perfect for indoor training because of the real feel. ... show more
